Kate Middleton’s Body Language Proves Her Relationship With Queen Elizabeth Is Not As ‘Tense’ As It Once Was

Kate Middleton’s body language says a lot about her relationship with Queen Elizabeth. Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, has spent years cultivating her bond with Her Majesty, and one body language expert believes Kate has become much more comfortable in the Queen’s presence. Here’s how Kate has developed such a strong bond with Queen Elizabeth as she prepares for the day Prince William sits on the throne.

The Duchess of Cambridge worked on her relationship with Queen Elizabeth as soon as she married into the royal family. After tying the knot with William in 2011, she wasted no time appearing in her first solo outing with Her Majesty.

It helped that Kate had spent years dating William and was given an opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the royal family before their engagement in 2010. When they exchanged vows in 2011, Kate was ready to jump right into the fray.

She also got on Queen Elizabeth’s good side by taking on a healthy share of royal responsibilities. This included dipping her toes in the charitable world and attending royal engagements with her husband and other members of the royal family.

Although Kate was well prepared for her royal duties, body language expert Judi James told Express that the Duchess of Cambridge was very tense during her first outings with Queen Elizabeth.

“Her first outings with the Queen showed some clear signals of anxiety and tension from Kate in between the smiles and moments of conversation, resulting in some rather rigid poses and tense facial expressions,” James explained.

The body language expert added that Kate always looked elegant in the early days, but she was missing her “signature dimpled smile,” a telling sign that she had other things on her mind.

Through the years, Kate has become more accustomed to the royal spotlight. Not only has she ditched her old anxious look in public, but she also appears much more confident during events, at least according to James.

James argues that Kate’s newfound confidence is a reflection of her close bond with Queen Elizabeth, who always seems overjoyed whenever the Duchess of Cambridge is around. This also shows that Kate has gotten over her anxiety and is ready to take her responsibilities to the next level.

“The Queen’s sudden broad and authentic-looking smile said it all,” James said of a recent event. “It appeared from nowhere as she caught sight of Kate approaching, registering instant warmth for the future queen.”

The expert went on to point out that Kate’s “part-smile” proves that she is extremely comfortable in Queen Elizabeth’s presence. It also shows “genuine excitement,” something that other royals could certainly add to their lineup.

James also believes that Kate is popular with the public and the royals because she tends to follow protocols and traditions. Her desire to stick to the rules no doubt pleases Queen Elizabeth, especially in light of the family’s recent drama.

Inside Kate Middleton’s ‘ruthless’ side

While Kate always appears perfect in public, inside sources claim that she has a “ruthless” side to her when the cameras are not around. According to Express, a source says that Kate uses this to keep her head down and knows exactly how to survive in the House of Windsor.

“I’ve spent quite a lot of time around Kate and she is impenetrable. There is nothing to like or dislike,” the source stated. “She has a ruthless survival streak, just like the House of Windsor.  It’s why she is so well suited.”

The insider, who chose to remain anonymous, stated that Kate is able to keep quiet about things because she knows that she will be sitting next to William on the throne someday. For Kate, her future position at the head of the monarchy is too valuable to risk making waves.

The source also noted that Kate has modeled a lot of her behavior after Queen Elizabeth and “now speaks like the Queen.” Kate, of course, will likely be named Queen Consort when William inherits the crown.

William is currently 2nd in the line of succession following his father, Prince Charles, who has waited longer than anyone in British history to sit on the throne.

Kate Middleton has not commented on the rumors surrounding her relationship with Queen Elizabeth. Palace officials have released a statement on the matter and assured royal watchers that the reports are untrue.
