‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’: We Finally Know What Kim Kardashian Thought of Kanye West’s TMZ Breakdown
Kim Kardashian is sticking by Kanye West through thick and thin.
Kanye West has recently been under fire for making some controversial comments on TMZ a few months back. On the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian West finally opened up about what she thought of the situation, and she tried to cope with her husband’s mental breakdown.
Kim begins the episode taking a stance
The episode begins with Kim sitting down with Kourtney as they discuss Kim’s thoughts on taking a stance alongside President Trump to help a woman who is serving a life sentence for a non-violent crime. The woman’s story was so inspiring to Kim that she wants to do everything in her power to get involved in the case.
Kim learns of Kanye’s meltdown
While in New York City for the Met Ball, Kim begins planning out her meeting with President Trump and soon finds out about her husband’s controversial discussion he had with TMZ.
Later that day, Kim is seen sitting down with her BFF Jonathan Cheban and explaining what she thought of Kanye’s TMZ meltdown. Kim states, “When I saw the clip, I rushed home, I was hysterically crying. So I go home, he’s totally fine. When he gets ramped up, he can’t control what he says. He can’t let it go But he loves getting ramped up. As a wife, it’s frustrating to see the media take everything and run with it.”
The TMZ video of Kanye West’s meltdown has gained a lot of attention from multiple media platforms. The video has been seen extremely controversial after West stated, “When you hear about slavery for 400 years…for 400 years? That sounds like a choice.”
Kris Jenner comments on Kanye
Amid the backlash against Kanye, Kris Jenner was scheduled to make an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. While backstage with boyfriend Corey Gamble, Jenner revealed that Kim does not want her talking about Kanye during her interview with Ellen DeGeneres.
Going against Kim’s wishes, Kris Jenner decides to comment on Kanye stating, “Even though Kanye went on TMZ this morning and made some controversial comments, my loyalty lies with Kanye.” She added, “It’s my job to be there to support Kanye and be somebody in his life that offers him love and support and not criticism.”
Kim makes a trip to The White House
With the news of Kanye’s controversy hanging over her head, Kim maintained a business-like posture as she met with attorney Shawn Holley, the same attorney who represented Lindsey Lohan back in 2013, and President Trump at The White House.
Kim must have made a lasting impression because a few days later while at a photo shoot, she receives the news that Alice Johnson was released from prison. Kim would eventually fly to Tennessee to meet with the woman in person for the very first time.
Kim will always support Kanye
After the media began to settle down around the Kanye and TMZ debacle, Kim was able to join Kanye in Wyoming for his album launch. During the party, Kim spoke about the situation stating, “I obviously support him and always will, but he likes to speak for himself, and I like to speak for myself, as his wife, I just have to express how I feel and have those private conversations with him and help him better communicate what he has to say.”
