Bravo Reportedly Ordered ‘RHOC’ Kelly Dodd Into Anger Management After Shannon Beador Incident

Real Housewives of Orange County star Kelly Dodd needs to control her temper. Inside sources claim that producers ordered Dodd to undergo anger management following her physical altercation with Shannon Beador on a recent episode of RHOC. Dodd will likely comply with the mandatory therapy, but her spot on Bravo’s hit reality show might be jeopardy anyway.

Kelly Dodd lashes out

Dodd’s behavior completely wrecked the zen atmosphere during the RHOC cast trip to Arizona. Unable to control her anger, Dodd smacked both Beador and Gina Kirschenheiter in the head while her co-stars watched in shock.

The hit on Beador happened when the women were participating in a class at the wellness retreat. Beador was wearing a metal bowl over her head when Dodd decided to hit her with a mallet.

The strike put Beador in the hospital, yet Kelly Dodd showed no remorse when her co-stars discussed what had happened in a later scene. Instead, Dodd lashed out once again and smacked Kirschenheiter in the head.

Kirschenheiter was shocked by Dodd’s behavior and immediately called her out. To be fair, Dodd pumped the breaks and apologized. She then assured her co-stars that she was just joking around, but they weren’t in the mood for it.

According to All About The Tea, RHOC producers were very alarmed by Dodd’s actions and warned her to avoid any further physical contact with her co-stars. They were also concerned about potential lawsuits, as Dodd’s behavior puts them at risk for legal action.

“Bravo went into panic mode after Kelly [Dodd] hit Shannon in the head and sent her to the ER, then slapped Gina [Kirschenheiter],” an insider dished. “Evolution Media (the production company that produces RHOBH) called Kelly into an emergency meeting and gave her a very stern warning to keep her hands to herself.”

The source also noted that the altercation could raise insurance concerns with Bravo and the company that provides their coverage. And that’s not the only thing Dodd has to worry about.

‘RHOC’ orders Kelly Dodd into anger management

Given the serious nature of the incident, RHOC producers have reportedly ordered Dodd to check herself into anger management.

Not to let the opportunity slip away, the anger management courses will be featured on the current season of RHOC.

The insider revealed that producers had to force Dodd to take the classes. They also made it clear that the show does not tolerate this kind of behavior, and producers hope that Dodd can get the help she needs.

For Dodd, this is hardly the first time she has gotten into an argument that turned physical.

This past spring, Kelly Dodd got into a fight with a random woman inside a bar in San Diego. The woman had to go to the emergency room for her injuries, which reportedly included compound fractures, neck pain, ligament tears, and emotional trauma.

Last year, Dodd was accused of pushing her mom down some stairs inside her home.

At the time of the incident, Dodd’s mother and brother, Eric Meza, were living with her. Meza later took to social media with the shocking allegations, which she has vehemently denied.

Will Kelly Dodd get fired?

Bravo has not said anything about Dodd’s future on the show. We do know, however, that fans will watch Dodd undergo somewhat of a transformation this season.

Not only will she good undergoing anger management, but Dodd has been assuring fans that things are much better with her family life.

While we wait for Dodd to turn things around, some of her co-stars are reportedly trying to get her fired. Inside sources claim that Tamra Judge is leading the charge to remove Dodd from the show, especially following their feud on Twitter.

Judge and Dodd exchanged blows on social media back in August. According to OK Magazine, sources claim that Judge is trying her best to get Dodd fired — and her recent actions are boosting her case.

“Tamra is desperately trying to get Kelly fired right now because she thinks that Kelly is the only person standing in her way of staying on the show forever,” an insider shared.

Last season, Kelly Dodd got into an epic feud with Vicki Gunvalson. Their squabble spilled out onto social media following a dramatic reunion, and things did not end well for the OG of the OC.

As fans are well aware, Gunvalson was demoted to friend status for the current season, something Judge is obviously trying to avoid.

Season 14 of the Real Housewives of Orange County air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
