Khloé Kardashian Admits Her Favorite Meals to Cook Aren’t Healthy — and 1 of Them Comes in a Box
Khloé Kardashian loves to cook — but it’s not always healthy food, she admitted during a recent interview. Kardashian said she loves comfort foods and even confessed that sometimes that means opening up a box of macaroni and cheese because you can’t beat the classics.
Khloé Kardashian was asked what her favorite meal is to cook
During an interview with Dr. Travis Stork on The Travis Stork Show podcast, Kardashian discussed parenting tips and how she’s been spending her time during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Kardashian said that she’s been enjoying the time she gets to spend with her daughter True and explained that she loves cooking but doesn’t usually get to do it.
She’s got some extra time on her hands since they’re doing limited filming of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, so Kardashian has gotten into cooking again.
Stork asked Kardashian about her “favorite go-to meal that you make” and she admitted that her favorites aren’t that healthy.
“OK, well I don’t make healthy food, I like to like… I’m big on fried chicken, mac and cheese, or I make this amazing breaded crusted chicken that I love,” Kardashian explained.
She added that for mac and cheese, “It’s the best and sometimes you need to have it out of a Velveeta box. It’s like that much better.”
The pandemic has made her slow down
Kardashian has found that things for her came to a “screeching halt” during the pandemic.
She discussed how this time is a reset and allowed her to reprioritize what matters. “For me, I would almost work until I would get sick or I would just work non-stop and just every minute of my day was utilized but not necessarily doing what maybe I wanted to do, doing what was either the right thing to do or what I think I have to do.”
“It’s such a sense of, for me, the value in my days are so much more meaningful to me and being able to be with my daughter so much more than I normally am… I still like to have as much time with her.”
Kardashian shared her parenting advice
Kardashian also talked about parenting and one of the big challenges has been not comparing True to her cousins.
“We’re in this potty-training process and I’m still trying to figure that out… you have to remember that there’s no right or wrong timeline for kids. Everyone does things in their own way,” Kardashian explained.
She continued, “True has two cousins that are only three months — they’re all three months apart. And so sometimes I see some of them and I’m like, ‘But Chicago did this,’ or ‘Stormi did that.’ I’m like, ‘I can’t do that!’”
“We’re all different kids and different ages and we just learn differently,” Kardashian added. “So I think just also understanding that, too… I have to remind myself of that.”
