Khloe Kardashian Reveals How She’s Moved On From Tristan Thompson Cheating Scandal: ‘That Chapter Is Closed’
Khloe Kardashian has moved on from the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal and she’s not holding any grudges towards Thompson or her sister’s former BFF Jordyn Woods. Her outlook on the scandal that rocked her world is pretty surprising, but she’s definitely rising above it all.

Kardashian has put the scandal behind her
In a new interview with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, Kardashian opened up about life after Thompson cheated on her with Woods. There’s no doubt this was a difficult time, as viewers of Keeping Up With the Kardashians got to see the whole thing unfold last season.
Kardashian had to move on for her daughter, True, and is pretty forgiving about the matter, explaining: “I’m not someone that holds a grudge. If I do that, it’s only gonna affect me and I’m genuinely, I don’t even — that chapter is closed for me.”
She added: “I want all of us to move on and to be happy, successful people. I just want everyone to just be better people with each day and that’s genuinely how I feel.”
Kardashian is forgiving
The reality star admits that the apology for the disrespect she endured should be legit, noting: “I know everybody makes mistakes. I think it’s how you handle it and I think your apologies have to be as loud as your disrespect was or to me, it’s not sincere. I’m forgiving. I’m forgiven.”
Kardashian admitted that she has learned to laugh at some of the things she’s been up against, noting: “We’re all human beings and we’re all figuring out life and stuff happens and people make mistakes and as long as it doesn’t define who they are, as long as they don’t make those choices define them and they try to evolve and become better people, we’re all gonna survive. We all learn from it.”
“Things have to happen to me for me to become a better person as well, and if we can’t laugh at it, what the hell am I going to do? Sit in a ball and cry?,” she added. “I gotta find the humor in something. I don’t think these things are funny all the time but you have to laugh and still move on with life and know that everything is going to be ok no matter what does happen to you.”
Kardashian struggled with including Thompson in True’s life
Kardashian always has her daughter’s best interests in mind and knew that, despite the fallout from the cheating, she would work with her ex to be solid co-parents to True. She was certainly put to the test when she invited Thompson to True’s first birthday party, just a couple of months after the cheating scandal.
In a teaser for the first episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians season 17, fans finally get to see how challenging that party was for Kardashian.
She admitted to Seacrest: “[T]hat was really hard. True’s birthday was just a couple weeks after all of that stuff happened, so everything was really raw and fresh.”
She added: “You’re going to see that in the first episode, really how we even came to the point where I even invited Tristan to her first birthday.”
Kardashian shared: “I always wanted that to be obviously a mommy and daddy thing. In my family, it’s everyone who’s going through this breakup, so I knew in my family it was going to be a lot of high tension, but I still wanted to do what was best for True.”
