Khloe Kardashian is in great shape, but it doesn’t come without a lot of work and commitment to fitness. Kardashian popped on to her Instagram story to share a small tip that makes her cardio workout so much easier — and it might be just the trick her fans have been searching for.
How often does Kardashian exercise?
Kardashian’s workout schedule isn’t for the faint of heart — as she hits the gym six days a week, with Shape magazine detailing her schedule in a 2017 article. Kardashian works on cardio one day, followed by legs and butt the next day, and a full day dedicated to core, followed by cardio again. Arms will get another day of workout and, on the seventh day, she gives attention to recovery, where she takes a warm bath, does yoga, or uses a foam roller.
What is her diet like?
Kardashian couples that consistent workout schedule with eating very deliberately — and eats more meals a day than you might expect.
She eats seven times per day, which includes snacks, with her meals consisting mostly of foods high in protein, as well as fruits and vegetables. She typically adds healthy fat as well to keep her satiated.
For snacks, Kardashian keeps it simple with vegetables, such as celery or tomatoes, paired with an egg or almonds.
Kardashian’s trainer assures critics that the star is working hard
Naturally, Kardashian has faced her fair share of rumors about plastic surgery, but her trainer recently confirmed that the reality star has achieved her fitness goals by working hard in the gym.
Luke Milton, a trainer on the third season of E!’s Revenge Body, shared with The Daily Telegraph that Kardashian works “very hard in the gym.”
Milton explained: “She’s extremely committed to her fitness endeavors, she’s extremely disciplined with her nutrition and she is a real athlete in the gym.”
Kardashian shares the secret to her success
In an interview with Women’s Health magazine, Kardashian shared that she faced some challenges with returning to her fitness routine after having daughter True, noting, “My mind knew I could do it, but my body couldn’t keep up.”
She added: “That was a struggle for me because I consider myself a beast in the gym and I love working out. So when I wasn’t able to do what my mind wanted, physically it really discouraged me.”
One of her favorite workout routines is doing glute exercises with a resistance band, called a fire hyrdrant. She even adds an ankle weight to take the move to the next level.
Kardashian often takes her fans along for the ride during her workouts and even had the perfect tip for making a cardio session a little bit easier — it’s all about distraction for the reality star.
She wrote in her Instagram story: “My trick to cardio is either TV or distracting myself online,” adding, “If I have a distraction I can do cardio for an hour at least. Sauna suit and all.”
