Khloé Kardashian: 5 Shows Featuring This Celebrity
Khloé Kardashian, the youngest Kardashian sister, has really come into her own after her family came into the pop culture limelight. Keeping Up With the Kardashians is one of the most successful and possibly the most hated reality shows out there. Khloé is typically the funny one and therefore the one fans usually relate to. The reality star is often making fun of her famous family members right to their faces and calling it like it is.
So it’s understandable that you want to get more of her on your screen. So what are all of the shows Khloé Kardashian has done so far? Here are five series starring the reality show personality.
1. Keeping Up With the Kardashians
The reality show that truly cemented all of the Kardashians and Jenners’ fame of course makes the list. The show is still going strong with 12 seasons, and Khloé has been a huge part of it. She actually leads the sisters with the most episodes on the show with 156.
The show has been able to capture some of the craziest and most intimate moments of her life. But that doesn’t mean she is always up to having her life available for the reality show. At the beginning of their marriage, Khloé claimed that she didn’t want to be on screen with her husband, Lamar.
“I was the one who didn’t want to do it!” Khloé told Cosmopolitan Middle East, “I said, ‘Absolutely not’. But Lamar was the one who was really into it. I said to him, ‘Are you crazy? It’s 12 to 18-hour days, for three months solid. There’s no downtime to just hang out on the couch and watch television because that doesn’t make good TV’. And he just said, ‘People want to see it’.”
Most recently the show included her dealing with her separated husband Lamar Odom’s overdose. After showing so much of her private life, the youngest sister has been able to branch out to hosting gigs and more.
2. Kocktails with Khloé
Khloé Kardashian followed her mother’s suit by also having a short-lived talk show. The intimate show included some chats with family members like Kim and Kanye West. But there were some celebrity guests like Snoop Dogg, Brandi Glanville, Snooki, and more. The talk show revolved around drinks and talking about intimate details like sex.
“I’m not a traditional talk show host,” the former host told Cosmopolitan, “I don’t want to be interviewing [people] on some couch. I don’t think that’s authentic.”
The show was also another way for the family to make headlines. In one episode Khloé said that she was open to getting remarried even if it was to the same person. She also opened up about her family’s past during the O. J. trial due to American Crime Story airing. Kocktails with Khloé ended after just 14 episodes due to not being able to capture an audience.
3. Kourtney & Khloé Take the Hamptons
Sisters Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian got their own spinoff in a new location. The two went off to the Hamptons in very interesting places in their relationships. Once again Kourtney and Scott were having problems in front of the cameras. Khloé was dating French Montana after separating from Lamar Odom. While navigating their relationships, the sisters were once again trying to create a new pop up shop for DASH. The show only has one season, but there’s probably a good chance the show will return again if Keeping Up With the Kardashians gets stale.
4. Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami
Kim is usually the focal point of the family since her sex tape is what catapulted them to fame. But once again the two sisters got their own spinoff show. The duo was able to hold their own to the point where they got three seasons. When asked whether Khloé preferred Los Angeles or Miami, it sounded like she preferred the new location.
“Everything in Miami is so laid back,” she told The Futon Critic, “and people are so much more approachable. In Miami, people will come up to you and it’s a very family-based city. Whenever we had events or went somewhere, we always saw the same people.”
The two go to Miami to open a DASH store. Khloé also got to show off her hosting skills on her radio show Khloé After Dark. On one season, Scott and Kourtney’s relationship was also a big plot point because it was rocky and Scott was prone to crazy outbursts. There was also a season where Kourtney partied it up while she was single.
5. Khloé & Lamar
Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom bravely went out and got their own reality show despite it typically being the kiss of death to couples. The spinoff showed their marital life together along with her brother, Robert. The youngest Kardashian actually lived with the couple for some time and was very close to Lamar.
The show focused on their strained relationships with family and friends. Lamar had a rocky past with his own father, and Khloé would butt heads with Lamar’s best friend, Jamie. It also highlighted their desire and plans to have a baby.
The show only lasted two seasons before they announced they were no longer doing the show. The reason given was that Lamar wanted to focus on his basketball career. Before the announcement, he was put on the inactive list for the Dallas Mavericks due to low numbers, according to TMZ.
