Kim Kardashian Reveals Her Favorite Sister: Why She’s Bonded With Khloe More This Year

It’s not easy for the Kardashian-Jenners to pick their favorite sister, though Kim Kardashian recently gave a very diplomatic response for this highly sought after information. In a new interview with her husband, Kanye West, Kardashian shared how her favorite sister changes, but that she’s become pretty close with Khloe this year.

Kardashian picks her favorite sister

Kardashian graces the cover of the September issue of Vogue Arabia, showing off the cinched waist she so painfully achieved for the Met Gala. The magazine invites fans to learn about “The Surreal World of Kim Kardashian West,” with a special interview conducted by her husband, West.

West dives into questions about Kim’s fame but asks the controversial question everyone wants answered — who would she pick as her favorite sister.

The answer, it turns out, isn’t that earth-shattering, as she shared: “It changes, just like friends or relationships go in and out.”

She did admit, however, “I think this year has been a really strong Kim and Khloé year,” noting, before anyone gets upset, “I’m obviously so close with Kendall and Kylie too but I’ve spent so much more time on this earth with Kourtney and Khloé — 16 and 17 years longer with them. We have more history, have been through so much together, and we have more friends in common.”

In particular, Kim shares that she and Khloé have had a closer year, sharing: “Kourtney and I will always be really close, but this year, Khloé and I really bonded.” No doubt the drama that played out in Khloe’s personal life brought the sisters together.

Kardashian shares her obsession

Vogue Arabia Editor-in-Chief Manuel Arnaut explained how “The shoot and interview reveal a side to Kim Kardashian that many have never seen before,” adding, “Her interview with Kanye West is both real and raw, as she talks personally about her career and family life. It was inspiring to assemble this unique level of talent.”

During her one-on-one interview with her husband, Kim admitted that she was “obsessed” about becoming famous, sharing: “Money was always the goal but I was obsessed with fame, like, embarrassingly obsessed… I do agree that fame can be addictive.”

Interestingly, she embraces living such a public life, though admits some privacy would be nice. She told her husband: “Even in my darkest of times I don’t regret putting myself out there for the world to see. People have shared with me over the years how much it has helped them to feel less alone when dealing with their own adversity.”

She added: “I love having a voice and I appreciate the platform that I have been given, even though I do wish I could have more privacy at times.”

Overall, her live and learn approach is refreshing, given her level of fame, as she noted: “I try to be a good person and to take my mistakes and make them into a better experience — to learn and grow from them and move on.”

She’s proven that to be true, most recently in renaming her solutionwear brand after she faced backlash over its original name, Kimono. She’s renamed it Skims Solutionwear, explaining in an Instagram post: “My fans and followers are a huge inspiration to me — I’m always listening to their feedback and opinions, and am so grateful they shared their ideas for a new brand name.”

She continued: “After much thought and consideration, I’m excited to announce the launch of SKIMS Solutionwear coming September 10.”
