Revealed: This Is How Kim Kardashian Spends Her Sponsored Post Money

You can say what you want about Kim Kardashian, but you have to admit that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians starlet is a full-blown businesswoman. Since 2007, she’s been at the center of American popular culture. In the beginning, she made bank from various appearances and for putting her name on brands. In the past decade, the mother of four has become much more savvy about her business and her money.

These days, Kardashian has several uber-successful businesses. She’s at the helm of KKW Beauty, KKW Fragrance, her new shapewear brand Skims, and she works as an executive producer on KUWTK

Additionally, in this new chapter in her life, Kardashian has begun to advocate against unlawful incarceration. She has partnered with various organizations to help free people who have been wrongfully imprisoned. Yet, none of this includes the massive amounts of money Kardashian brings in for sponsored posts on her social media accounts.

Kim Kardashian makes a ton of money for her sponsored posts

Kardashian has promoted fat burning teas, teeth whitening kits, waist trainers, and everything in between. However, she has received a great deal of backlash for promoting things to her 150 million Instagram followers that she clearly doesn’t use. Actress/activist Jameela Jamil has gone after the reality star, in particular, for promoting weight-loss products to young people. However, with a fee of $1 million per ad, Kardashian is unbothered.

“You’re going to get backlash for almost everything,” Kardashian told The New York Times. “So long as you like it or believe in it, or it’s worth it financially — whatever your decision may be — as long as you’re OK with that.”

This is how Kim Kardashian spends her sponsored post money

In her interview with the New York Times, Kardashian admitted that her sponsored posts can sometimes be a “little off-brand.” However, she justifies it because she uses that money to finance her legal work. She explained,

I am really cautious about what I spend. So if I overspend on something and a paid post happens to come in at that time, I’ll weigh it out and think, ‘OK, well I have to pay for x, y and z.’ Now, it’s a little bit more personal for me. If I have a paid post that comes in and I think, ‘OK, well this can fund x amount of people that are behind bars, that can help free them with simple legal fees that they just can’t afford, then that would be worth it to me, even if the post might be a little bit off-brand for me.’ I really weigh out different things now than I used to.

Kim Kardashian’s net worth

With a household of six, her lavish lifestyle, and her work in the legal field to finance, Kardashian does whatever she thinks is best. According to Celebrity Net Worth, the starlet is worth $350 million –pulling in roughly $80 million. However, with her studying to become a lawyer and leaving behind an empire for her children, we believe she’s thinking much more long term than an occasional one-off Instagram ad.
