Kim Kardashian West Proves She Cares More About Her Fans Than Anyone Thought
Kim Kardashian West might have started out as a reality star, but over time, she has turned into one of the most famous women in the world. Now she’s gone from reality television star to model to beauty and shapewear mogul, and she has showed no signs of slowing down despite being a mother of four kids. And although Kardashian West is worth hundreds of millions, she still makes sure her fans know how much she cares about them.
Kardashian West has launched several brands over the past few years
Since Keeping Up With the Kardashians first premiered back in 2007, Kardashian West has capitalized on her massive appeal to fans. Her reality show opened her up to plenty of modeling gigs, and she hit a level of popularity that had far surpassed any of her other family members. Now, the women have all caught up to her (and Kylie Jenner is worth more than any of her siblings), but Kardashian West still continues to dive into more business ventures. She launched KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance in 2017, and both businesses have seen incredible success. In September 2019, she launched her shapewear line, Skims.
She listened to her fans when they asked her to change her shapewear name
When Kardashian West originally announced her new shapewear line, many fans found the name offensive. The beauty mogul had named the line “Kimono” which some saw as cultural appropriation. At first, Kardashian West defended the name, but when her fans still expressed distaste, she listened. She relaunched the shapewear brand as Skims and thanked her fans for speaking up about the issues they had with the branding. Once the line officially launched on September 10, it was a major success.
Kardashian West recently posted a heartfelt message to fans about shapewear sales
Since the launch, Kardashian West has always been putting her fans first in terms of restocking product and launching new shapewear. She recently posted a heartfelt message to her fans understanding their frustration with items being out of stock. “I understand some of you were unable to purchase Skims today before your wish list items sold out,” Kardashian West wrote, noting the frustration the comes along with that. “Please note that our teams are doing everything possible to produce more to meet the high demand… My goal is to make Skims as accessible as possible for everyone very soon.”
Though people enter businesses to make money, their customers are truly the only reason they find success. Kardashian West has proven time and time again that she has a deep appreciation for those who purchase her brands, and she never fails to remember how important her fans are.
She continues to look to her fans for inspiration
Kardashian West listens to fans’ suggestions. She listened when they asked her to change her shapewear name, and she listens to what products would help them in everyday life. Kardashian West is constantly launching new forms of shapewear based on her consumers’ needs, and it’s evident that she takes the time to form her brands around what’s best for the people purchasing them.
