There are a lot of feuds Kim Kardashian has been involved in lately, but this one has us rooting for her! The same man who tried to pick up Gigi Hadid recently tried to kiss Kim Kardashian’s butt. Vitalii Sediuk is the name of the man who has allegedly assaulted multiple celebrities. His latest stunt happened on September 28 in Paris, but he was luckily stopped by Kardashian’s bodyguard. The whole thing was caught on video.

Look but don’t touch 🍑 😘 #Paris #kimkardashian #MakeupByMario. Of course @pascalduvier crushed him 👌🏼👊🏼💪🏼 and @steph_shep too 😭

Sediuk was held down by Kardashian’s bodyguard and head of security detail, Pascal Duvier who held him down to the ground. It doesn’t look like Sediuk was allowed to get too close to Kardashian. The reality star tweeted about being grateful for being separated from Sediuk by her bodyguard.

So what does Duvier have to say about his heroic moment? According to TMZ, he clarified that he under law is allowed to defend himself and his client from an attack. He also claimed that Sediuk fled the scene after Duvier let him go. The bodyguard is definitely a professional at what he does. He has protected Kanye West since his Yeezus Tour in 2014. He has also protected Fergie, Ciara, and Katy Perry. He was born in Germany and is a judo expert.

Since his job involves protecting some of the most famous people in the industry he has been pretty busy and this actually isn’t his first time in the news. Thanks to Kanye he was put in a pretty crazy position while working at one of the star’s events.

You might remember that embarrassing concert of Kanye’s where he insisted that everyone in the crowd should stand up. “I can’t do this song, I can’t do this show until everybody stand up,” he said. When he noticed one person wasn’t standing up he reportedly had Duvier go to verify why. Turns out the audience member was in a wheelchair so Duvier had to tell Kanye he was handicapped.

Duvier has also been seen multiple times on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Before his life protecting the rich and famous he had a very different life.

I started in the German army,” he told Highsnobiety. “At the time it was mandatory to enlist in Germany and I thought it was a good idea to do something for your country.”

Kardashian is now filing a complaint with the French authorities on Sediuk, according to E! That includes pressing charges and she is trying to obtain a restraining order from him. Since the incident, Sediuk has defended himself by saying the whole thing was an act of protest through an Instagram post.

This is similar to the reason he essentially gave for his alleged assault on Hadid in Milan. He just changed the message from being about high fashion to women’s self-esteem. “You can call it a manifest or a protest,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “This is also a wake-up call for Anna Wintour, who turned Vogue into a tabloid by putting Kardashians and other similar celebrities on a cover of a well-respected magazine.”

America Ferrera

Hadid and Kardashian are certainly not the first people to have a bad interaction with Sediuk. He used to have a show on the Ukrainian channel 1+1 where he did pranks. However we was fired from that gig back in 2014 for sticking his head under America Ferrera’s dress while she was posing for a photo at Cannes. Once everyone noticed what was happening, he was escorted away.

“Of all of the things I prepared myself for, that was not one of them,” Ferrera told Vulture “it seemed kind of violating, I agree with that statement.” The company that once had his show also denounced his actions publicly through a statement.

[The] prank on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival was Vitalii’s personal initiative. The journalist did not report his plans to the channel’s Editorial Office. 1+1 Media Company is sorry for the inconvenience caused to the American actress America Ferrera by the journalist’s behavior … Such behavior of the journalist is contrary to the values of the company and notions of journalistic ethics.

This wasn’t the only incident. He also allegedly jumped over a barricade and physically accosted Brad Pitt at the premiere of Maleficent. In the end he received a $200 fine, 20 days of community labor, and 36 months of probation. He is also banned from all Hollywood events.
