Kim Kardashian’s Feuds with Celebrities You Probably Forgot About
When you think of Kim Kardashian’s celebrity feuds, Taylor Swift’s name is probably the first to come to mind. However, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s list of famous haters is much, much longer.
Kardashian, of course, is never one to back down in a fight — no matter how public. You may recall that back in February 2018, the reality star sent bottles of her limited edition KIMOJI Heart fragrances to both her “lovers” and her “haters.”
She even explained, “I am writing a list for my press boxes. I’m gonna send them to way more than this, but I decided, for this Valentine’s Day, everyone deserves a Valentine. So I am going to send them to my lovers, to my haters, to everyone that I think of, because it’s Valentine’s Day after all.”
While this list of celebrities ended up on the “haters” list, you may not remember exactly why Kardashian has beef with them. Here are 10 of Kardashian’s feuds with other celebrities you probably forgot about.
Chloë Grace Moretz
Kardashian has been involved in a long-lasting feud with Chloë Grace Moretz, and it doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. Their beef dates back to March 2016, when Kardashian posted a nude photo of herself on Twitter. She joked, “When you’re like I have nothing to wear LOL.”
Moretz replied, “I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies.”
Kardashian, who is never afraid to clap back on social media, called Moretz out for being a hypocrite (considering she posed nude for Nylon magazine in 2015). “let’s all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is,” Kardashian tweeted. “your nylon cover is cute boo.”
You definitely don’t forget when Kardashian #BrokeTheInternet when she posed nude for Paper magazine in 2014. What you may not remember, however, is Naya Rivera’s response to it. After Kardashian posted a photo of her scandalous photo shoot on social media, Rivera commented, “I normally don’t. But… you’re someone’s mother…”
Wendy Williams wasn’t afraid to call Kardashian out for her apparent attention-seeking ways. She critiqued on the “Hot Topics” segment of The Wendy Williams Show, “Kim, you know what? It’s clear that Kanye has nothing for you except dribble and feeble conversation. It is clear that Kanye does not pay attention to you. It’s clear to me that you’re desperately trying to stay in the spotlight.”
Sarah Michelle Gellar
Kardashian rubbed quite a few people the wrong way by posing for Vogue in 2014 in a wedding gown with her husband, Kanye West. Sarah Michelle Gellar landed herself on Kardashian’s “haters” list by tweeting, “Well……I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???”
Former model Janice Dickinson didn’t think Kardashian earned a spot on the Vogue cover, either. “Kim Kardashian made the cover of Vogue, which made me want to vomit,” she admitted to Us Weekly. “It was crazy. They’re not models! They’re reality TV stars! You know, modeling is extremely hard work, you have to have perfect proportions. The Kardashians do not have couture proportion.”
Talk show host Chelsea Handler ended up on Kardashian’s bad side when she blamed her family for Donald Trump becoming the president. “We’ve turned into a reality show,” Handler said. “I blame the Kardashians, personally; the beginning of the end was the Kardashians.”
After years of Kardashian posting nude selfies of herself to social media, Piers Morgan has had enough. In January 2018, Kardashian posted one of her most revealing shots yet. Morgan retweeted the photo, writing, “Oh put them away, for goodness sake.”
Fellow reality TV star Sharon Osbourne doesn’t necessarily have a problem with Kardashian’s revealing photos. She does, however, have a problem with how she’s seemingly trying to portray herself. In September 2017, Osbourne said, “If Kim wants to show off her body, fine. But that’s not feminism, that’s being a h*e. And there’s nothing wrong with being a h*e, but always remember what you are.”
Kardashian’s risqué photos in 2016 even prompted a response from Bette Midler. She tweeted, “Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we’ve never seen, she’s gonna have to swallow the camera.”
No matter who calls her out, Kardashian is always ready to fire back a response. “Hey @BetteMidler,” Kardashian wrote. “I know it’s past your bedtime but if you’re still up and reading this send nudes #justkidding.”
Like many other celebrities, Pink voiced her distaste for Kardashian’s nude selfies. While the pop star didn’t outright name Kardashian while throwing shade, it was pretty clear who she was referencing in her tweet:
Shout out to all of the women, across the world, using their brains, their strength, their work ethic, their talent, their “magic” that they were born with, that only they possess. It may not ever bring you as much “attention” or bank notes as using your body, your sex, your t*ts and asses, but women like you don’t need that kind of “attention.” In the quiet moments, you will feel something deeper than the fleeting excitement resulting from attention, you will feel something called pride and self respect. Keep on resisting the urge to cave. You’ll never have to make silly excuses for yourself.
Pink did later tell Andy Cohen why she felt compelled to tweet about Kardashian. “Honestly, she went in on Bette Midler,” she admitted. “If you go in on Bette Midler, you’re probably gonna hear from me. You just don’t talk to Bette Midler … about anything.”
