Kourtney Kardashian Has the Most Perfect Breakup Playlist for Kylie Jenner

Kylie Jenner is currently coping with her split from Travis Scott, whom she dated for more than two years and with whom she shares a daughter, Stormi. Multiple outlets confirmed on Oct. 1 that she and the ASTROWORLD rapper had split “weeks” earlier.

After the breakup, Jenner reportedly zeroed in on herself, her goals, and their daughter. But what truly better way to get over the agony of a relationship split than a breakup playlist?

Luckily, her big sister, Kourtney Kardashian, has one, and it features the most fitting songs.

More on Kourtney Kardashian’s playlist

In early 2019, Kardashian shared the tunes to her lifestyle website, Poosh, writing that she created the list following her own breakup. (She dated reality star Scott Disick from 2006 to 2015 and model Younes Bendjima from 2016 to 2018.)

She added, “It’s important to really feel your feelings and mourn the relationship, so there are some sob-your-eyes-out sad songs, but there are songs that also lift you up and help to make you feel good and remember that you’re strong and will get through it—it’s somewhat of a progression, just like the normal crazy waves of emotions that usually come with a breakup.”

“Some of the songs are on it so you can have hope for the future. It’s not to make you depressed but to let it out and ultimately feel better,” Kardashian continued. “It’s in a specific order, and one of the last songs is ‘Strong Enough’ so you end on a positive note. And it makes me laugh.”

The playlist, which is available on Apple Music and Spotify, features breakup ballads such as Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next,” Beyoncé’s “Irreplaceable,” Sam Smith’s “Too Good at Goodbyes,” Adele’s “Someone Like You,” and Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive.”

A recap of Jenner and Scott’s breakup

It seems that Jenner and Scott broke up at some point in September. Some sources say that they had been fighting a lot about having another baby and settling down. While Jenner reportedly wanted to focus on “family life,” Scott prioritized his “booming music career.”

“He hasn’t been giving her the commitment that she needs,” a source told People on Oct. 2. “Travis isn’t ready to give her all that she wants.”

This reportedly was the last straw for Jenner, who had allegedly struggled to trust Scott after she allegedly found evidence of infidelity in his phone in February. (He previously denied cheating on her.)

“The couple has been hot and cold since their last breakup, and haven’t been able to fully get on the same page again,” a source told Entertainment Tonight on Oct. 2. “They are both extremely busy with different schedules and since Kylie found out about Travis messaging another girl on Instagram, the rebuilding of trust has been hard.”

Will Jenner and Scott get back together?

It’s really anyone’s guess. Some sources say that there’s a possibility, but many have noted that they’re both happy with the current status of their relationship.

“Kylie is very happy doing what she’s doing. She doesn’t have a grand plan as to whether she will get back together with Travis or not. She’s bonded to him for life by Stormi Webster so she knows it’s a possibility,” a source told E! News on Oct. 29. “Things are going well for them with this new set up. They are very happy coming together and being a family with Stormi, but they also have separate lives and are enjoying it.”

We’ll see what happens. In the meantime, Jenner’s at least got a bomb set of tunes to keep her company.
