Does Kourtney Kardashian Allow Her Kids To Eat Candy?
It’s no secret that Kourtney Kardashian has had some issues getting along with her sisters lately. Her relationship with Kim Kardashian West is quite strained these days. Though the eldest Kardashian sisters are known for their vicious banter — their latest fights have been especially alarming.
One of their more recent wars stemmed from a party that the Poosh founder and the KKW Beauty mogul threw for their daughters North West and Penelope Disick. Though the sisters decided on a Candy Land themed party — Kourtney decided she only wanted chemical-free candy at the party. She said, “There’s no reason that you can’t have the theme of the party and have treats that are… there are candies that are not disgusting and filled with chemicals.”
Kim Kardashian West was immediately annoyed. She responded by saying, “It’s a Candy Land-themed party! Yes, that’s, like, what the party is about, Candy Land. It’s not f*cking Gluten Free Land over here.” Though the party was several months ago — it only added to the tension between the pair. To cap it off — Kourtney Kardashian has announced she is stepping away from Keeping Up with the Kardashians. So what’s the deal with Kourtney and her obsession with “clean” candy.”
Kourtney Kardashian allows her children to eat candy in moderation
Kourtney is never going to allow her children, Penelope, Maison and Reign to eat “traditional” package candies. However, she does allow them to have sweets every once in a while. While ranting about the fight she had with her sister on Twitter — Kardashian clapped back at fans saying,
I never said NO candy. I said not all junk food, let’s have some salads etc, and @KimKardashian said she wanted the ice cream truck and I suggested organic ice cream with some non dairy options. Moderation.
Kourtney Kardashian believes candy gives people diseases
Though anything in abundance –especially prepackaged things aren’t the best options for you –Kourtney believes candy gives people diseases. During their fight, Kim declared, “It’s like a completely sugar-free, gluten-free, party free, fun free zone and that’s really not the theme for what North and Penelope wanted for their birthdays.”
Meanwhile, Kourtney clapped back at her younger sister. She responded, “It’s not going to be healthy no matter what — sugar is not healthy — what I’m saying is let’s not do the nasty stuff like food coloring and all the gross s***. There’s just better solutions to things instead of your dated candy that’s like literally food coloring and gives people diseases.”
Kourtney Kardashian was recently caught eating junk food
Since the Poosh founder is so adamant about her healthy lifestyle, fans were appalled when she was photographed buying, Pringles, Funyuns, Cheetos, Chex Mix and a bottle of coconut water at a gas station. She quickly clapped back saying, “Road trip soooooo.”
Though Kardashian was previously on a non-dairy, non-gluten diet –she has since shifted her stance. In May 2019 blog post on Poosh, she said,
A healthy lifestyle requires balance — allowing yourself to hit the snooze button when you really need it, skipping the gym for quality time with friends, and of course, cheat days. Yes, indulging every once in a while is self-care. Whether you follow a strict diet or not, we all deserve days off. No guilt, and no boundaries.
Everything in moderation.
