You Won’t Believe the Names Kris Jenner Almost Gave Kendall and Kylie Jenner
While we’ve learned to expect the unexpected when it comes to the Kardashian-Jenners, we were completely taken aback when the family revealed this interesting fact behind Kendall and Kylie Jenner‘s names.
Kris Jenner had two completely different names picked out for her youngest daughters
Since the Kardashian-Jenner family has been in the spotlight for so long, it’s hard to imagine them without their iconic monikers.
The family has built million dollar empires using their infamous names and many of us can agree that their unique handles are what set them apart from everyone else.
Although the KarJenners’ names are what make them who they are today, it turns out that two members of the family almost didn’t get their iconic monikers.
During last night’s episode of KUWTK, it revealed that Kris Jenner had completely different first names in mind when it came to her two youngest daughters.
“Did you know your name was going to be Juliet?” Kim Kardashian West told Kendall during the episode. “Juliet Jenner.”
“I thought it was going to be Cameron,” the supermodel said.
“No, [Kris was] really into Js,” the KKW mogul explained. “[She was] like, ‘Okay, since I did Ks, I’m going to do Js.’ And then last minute [she was] like, ‘I’m going to do Ks.'”
Once Kris Jenner fell pregnant with Kylie, she knew that she wanted her youngest daughter’s name to flow with Kendall’s, but was going back and forth with a few options.
“We just kept saying, ‘Kendall and Sophia,’ or ‘Kendall and Jane’ — you know, trying to think of what went with Kendall,” the momager recalled. “It was ‘Kendall and Kelly,’ and then when we got to ‘Kendall and Kylie,’ we were like, ‘That’s it.’ Kendall and Kylie had to go together.”
Kendall and Kylie couldn’t be a more perfect fit for these sisters
Though Jenner had a few names in mind for her two youngest daughters, we’re so happy she ended up going with “Kendall and Kylie” in the end.
Just the thought of calling the reality stars “Cameron and Kelly” or “Juliet and Sophie” just doesn’t feel right and these monikers also don’t go with the Kardashian “K” legacy.
We can easily guess that since Jenner’s name starts with a “K”, she wanted all of her girls’ names to start with the same letter, probably to further set her daughters apart from everyone else.
While the story of how Jenner came up with Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé’s names is still under wraps, we can easily guess that she thought long and hard about these monikers that definitely set her kids apart from the rest of the world.
