Actress Kristen Bell is known for many films and TV series. She currently stars in the NBC comedy The Good Place. And it was recently revealed that she’ll be returning as the voice of the eponymous mystery blogger in the Gossip Girl reboot.

However, one role of hers you’re likely most familiar with (especially if you’re a parent) is that of Anna in the Disney animated hit Frozen. This is a role that she reprises in the sequel, due out Nov. 22, 2019.

The film just had its premiere

Fans are starting to get very excited for Frozen 2, which has been many years in the making. The film will follow the characters from the first, including Bell’s Anna, her sister Elsa (Idina Menzel), her love interest Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), and anthropomorphic snowman Olaf (Josh Gad) on a new adventure.

The plot has been kept fairly well under wraps. But now, the first wave of fans and critics have seen it, so details are going to continue to pour out slowly. Of course, Bell is hoping that her loose lips won’t have anything to do with it…

Here’s who Bell spilled ‘Frozen 2’ secrets to

“I told my kids all of it,” said Bell of the Frozen 2 plot on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “When we first read the script like two and a half years ago, three years ago, I came home and I was like, ‘OK, here’s how it goes down.’ And I told them everything. I told them, ‘Just keep it a secret.’ Then it occurred to me: Kids are bad secret keepers. And I’m in breach of my contract.”

She continued, “I’m two weeks out from these heart palpitations going away so that Disney won’t sue me.” When Kimmel told her it was “a big mistake,” Bell said, “I blew it! I wanted an ego boost. I wanted them to be like, ‘Wow, that happens?'”

Did Bell’s kids go to the premiere?

Bell’s daughters, Lincoln and Delta, are the appropriate ages for the movie. Lincoln is six, and Delta is almost five. We even know that they’re fans of the franchise: Lincoln made Bell dress up as Elsa with her for two years in a row on Halloween, a fact Bell hilariously has shared on social media.

However, Bell didn’t bring them to the premiere of Frozen 2. She told Kimmel, ” They don’t do well in situations where I can’t pay attention to them. So they don’t know about premieres. They don’t need to know.”

Everyone is praising ‘Frozen 2’

So far, there’s been a lot of praise for Frozen 2 from early critical discussions. Alisha Grauso of Atom Tickets writes that it’s “breathtakingly beautiful.” She also notes that all of the main players get their own songs.

In addition to the stars of the film (including new additions like Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown), plenty of other celebrities attended the premiere. One of the most notable was Selena Gomez, who brought her little sister. The two wore matching gowns and cloaks.
