Kristen Bell Reveals Who Knows All Of Her ‘Frozen 2’ Secrets

Beloved actress Kristen Bell has been everywhere this year. While promoting the Veronica Mars revival Season 4 at San Diego Comic-Con this month, she spoke a little about another upcoming project: Frozen 2. Here’s what she revealed.

Bell starred in Frozen way back in 2013

Chances are, you’ve been a fan of Bell’s for a long time. Maybe you’re a Marshmallow (the name given to fans of Bell’s first series, Veronica Mars). Perhaps you first noticed her in comedic films like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Bad Moms. But if you’re a parent, you’re probably most familiar with her voice.

Bell voices the character of Anna in Frozen. Anna is the younger sister of Elsa, who, on the day she is going to be crowned Queen of Arendelle, reveals she has the power to turn anything to ice. When Elsa flees, Anna sets out to bring back her sister with the help of a few strangers.

She’s been busy with plenty of other projects since

Bell is a very busy woman. Since Frozen was released, she’s been in several films, including the Kickstarter-funded Veronica Mars movie, the sequel A Bad Moms Christmas, and the Netflix Original Like Father. She’s also provided more voices in animated flicks such as Zootopia and Teen Titans Go! To the Movies.

If you think that’s a lot, you should see what she’s done on the small screen. Bell has made appearances in series such as Parks and Recreation and provided voices for others like Big Mouth, The Simpsons, and BoJack Horseman. She’s also starred in House of Lies, The Good Place, and the recent revival of Veronica Mars.

This is the one thing she can share with her children

What makes Frozen so special to Bell? She has two young daughters: Lincoln, born in 2013, and Delta, who came along in late 2014. It may be because of this that she’s continued to show her dedication to the Frozen franchise.

In addition to the upcoming sequel, Bell has reprised her role as Anna in the animated shorts Frozen Fever and Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, as well as the TV special LEGO Frozen Northern Lights. In 2018, Anna was among the Disney Princesses featured in the film Ralph Breaks the Internet. Bell has also performed the music from Frozen live on a few occasions.

When asked about what song will become the sequels “earworm” the way “Let It Go” was for the original, Bell says she knows it will be. “In my opinion, the song that will rise from this movie — there’s good music all over it, but the song that I have been singing for the last three years to my daughters is a softer song. It has a lullaby vibe,” she told MTV.

She continued. “My daughters know the words. Thankfully, they don’t have social media accounts,” she joked. But as it turns out, Delta and Lincoln don’t just know the lyrics to one song from Frozen 2. “They know all the secrets,” says Bell.

When is Frozen 2 coming to theaters?

This is certainly a big year for Bell. There’s the Veronica Mars reboot, which she was at Comic-Con promoting. Then there’s the upcoming final season of The Good Place, for which she also sat on the panel of at Comic-Con.

Bell will finish off the year with Frozen 2, which is scheduled for release on Nov. 22, 2019. The sequel is said to follow Elsa, Anna, and their friends on an adventure that leads them away from their kingdom in order to learn more about Elsa’s mysterious abilities.
