‘KUWTK’: Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian Try to Fix Their Relationship with a Family Therapy Session

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians season finale is almost here and it looks like the family tension that’s been brewing might see some resolution — at least if momager Kris Jenner can help it.

The family has an intervention

In the sneak peek of Sunday’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians season finale, the family takes advantage of sharing a ride together during their trip to Wyoming to air their issues and make some peace.

Jenner tells her daughters, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, and Kendall: “I want each one of you to pick one person sitting here and tell them what’s the one thing you’d love to focus on strengthening in your relationship. What we’re going to do is build the communication. Khloe, is there somebody on the bus that you’d like to strengthen with?”

The opportunity to discuss things all together revealed that there was definitely tension between the sisters, particularly between Kim and Kourtney and Khloe and Kourtney.

The previous episode showed Kim and Khloe ganging up on Kourtney because they don’t think she shares enough of her personal life with the cameras.

Kim and Khloe explain why they’ve been clashing with Kourtney

Kim and Khloe both admitted that they want to work on their relationship with Kourtney, with Khloe sharing, “I feel like Kourtney and I sometimes fizzle, so I think I would love to get us back on course and maybe not be so reactive, for myself.”

Kendall interjected with where she believes some of the breakdown in their relationships happens, explaining, “I think sometimes there’s a lot of judgment between all of us and we think it’s fine because we’re family. Kourt, you say it a lot, you’re like, ‘We can’t be so judgmental,’ but you are too. We all have to realize we all are.”

Kim then admits her attitude is also part of their tension, noting, “I want to fix my relationship with Kourtney for those mean reasons and those mean comments.”

“For you saying them?,” Kourtney asks, and Kim shares, “Both! Yeah. I can be so mean.”

Khloe pointed out that they have some give and take in that area, noting: “You guys go back and forth though. It’s an equal.”

Family is the most important thing

Kris remains the peacekeeper and reminds them of what’s important in their family, noting: “Sometimes I think people lash out at the people they love the most. The love we have is so unique and it’s so special, we have to treat it like a little precious gift from God.”

Though the episode seems to have the sisters mending their fractured relationships with each other, Kourtney has already confirmed she’s taking a break from KUWTK. She told Entertainment Tonight in November: “I just decided to spend more time as a mom and put more of my energy there. But I’m not saying goodbye. I think you’ll have to see more of it on the new season, season 18. It isn’t airing yet but it’s being filmed.”

Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs Sunday on E! at 9 p.m. ET.
