‘KUWTK’: The Instagram Clues That Hinted Khloé Kardashian Was Done With the Show

The Kardashian-Jenner family of Keeping Up With the Kardashians fame is all over social media. The family of mega-stars promotes their variety of business endeavors, from beauty products to clothing to television series.

They also partner with numerous big-name brands, like Febreze and Coca-Cola. So it’s understandable that their Instagram accounts are filled with product promotions.

Some fans think the family goes a bit overboard with their product promotions, sometimes promoting unsafe products or making false promises for products that don’t really work.

Fans are particularly annoyed with Khloé Kardashian’s social media posts in general, whether she’s posting inspirational quotes or ads for her products.

Why are fans annoyed with Khloé Kardashian’s social media posts?

Khloé Kardashian has quite a habit of using social media to post cryptic messages alluding to her personal life, according to E! Online. Some might call these “inspirational” posts, but they are a bit too negative to be truly inspiring. They read more like a passive-aggressive attack on the latest person to annoy her.

She’s been known to post several strange messages in one day, including three back in 2018. The first post talked about how there are only a few people she can stand to be around without wanting to strangle them, but the next one talked about how she isn’t judgmental and hates people who are.

The last of the trio that day reinforced her feelings about the majority of people in her life: “Lord, grant me the serenity to accept stupid people the way they are, courage to maintain my self-control, and wisdom to know that if I act on it, I will probably be in jail.”

Khloe addressed the fact that her posts seem to increase when she’s having personal problems. According to E!, back in 2016 she said that she doesn’t only post quotes when she’s troubled — she just posts sayings that she likes even if they don’t personally apply to her.

If that’s true, it’s quite a coincidence that these posts matched up with personal issues nearly every time.

Does Khloé Kardashian use Instagram too much?

In addition to her numerous quotes, Kardashian uses her social media accounts to promote her products. Marketing through social media is a fairly common technique used by nearly everyone. However, fans don’t love the frequency or the way that Khloe uses this channel to make money.

Sometimes it’s the actual product that people have trouble with. The Flat Tummy shakes incident after the last holiday season fired up a few other celebrities, according to Insider. Kardashian was promoting the shakes as an excellent way to lose weight and flatten your belly after indulging too much over the holidays.

Jameela Jamil called her out on the product, saying it was dangerous and not approved by the FDA. The shakes also have a myriad of side effects including diarrhea, cramping, stomach pain, and dehydration.

Recently, Khloe appeared on The View and came under fire again for shameless product promotion. Khloe discussed migraines with Whoopi Goldberg, and then mentioned the migraine medication that she uses. The medication just happens to come from Biohaven Pharmaceuticals, for which she is a spokesperson.

Fans on Reddit felt that she only appeared on the talk show to sell her products.

Was Khloe trying to pad her pockets before KUWTK ended?

Some fans speculate that Kardashian ramped up her product promotion because she knew that Keeping Up With the Kardashians was coming to an end. They’re assuming that she wanted to make as much money as possible while the family still has a strong fan following. She may think the show has a positive impact on her sales, and that is entirely possible.

Only time will tell what will happen to the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s other business ventures once the popular series comes to an end.
