‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ is finally ending

After the show’s 20th season in 2021, Keeping Up With the Kardashians will finally be ending. The family has gone on to do some high profile and lucrative projects since they started the reality show and have finally found a good endpoint for sharing their lives with the world.

The family explained in a statement, “We are beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years — through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children. We’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and countless people we’ve met along the way.”

Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner reveal how their lives might have been different

KUWTK made the Kardashian-Jenners household names, but what might their lives have been like if their every move hadn’t been filmed?

When Kardashian and Jenner sat down for an episode of the Sibling Revelry With Kate Hudson and Oliver Hudson podcast, the hosts asked the sisters just that question. “Do you guys ever think about where you would be if the show didn’t exist? What would your life be like?,” Oliver Hudson wondered.

Kardashian said she thought they’d still have their DASH and Smooch stores and that Kim Kardashian West would be a stylist. Khloé Kardashian ran the store back in the day, so she figured her sister would have continued that role.

The sisters both agreed that Kylie Jenner still would have created Kylie Cosmetics, even if she hadn’t gotten famous from the reality show. “It’s so hard to think of her doing anything else,” Jenner said.

The model also shared how her life might have had a far different trajectory if she hadn’t gotten into modeling.

“I feel like I would’ve gone to the Olympics for horseback riding,” she said. “I still would love to go… I would love to be the second Olympian Jenner.”

What were Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner’s career highlights?

The sisters were also asked to choose a career highlight and, given all of the opportunities they’ve had over the years, you’d imagine it would be hard to choose just one.

Kardashian shared how an interview with Oprah Winfrey tops her list. “Our family did an interview with Oprah, which was really cool,” she explained. “She came and interviewed each family member.”

Kardashian also ranked an interview with David Letterman and a cameo in a soap opera among her top choices as well.

Jenner explained how she got into modeling and how some of her career achievements are the ones she’s most proud of, including her Vogue covers.

“The reason I started modeling is because of the Victoria’s Secret fashion show,” Jenner explained. “I did that and that was super cool for me.”

She shared some other moments at the start of her career as well. “I never even imagined that was where I would be,” she said. “Getting Chanel, I was like, ‘Holy moly! This is really happening.'”

How did ‘KUWTK’ get started?

During the interview, Kardashian noted how it was mom Kris Jenner’s idea to do KUWTK, though it evolved from her, Khloé, and Kim, who were trying to do a show “about our stores DASH.”

Kardashian added, “When we were doing that, they started filming with our family… they just decided to do a family show.” The rest, as they say, is history.

When discussing whether they watch the show, Jenner admitted she will only watch the oldest episodes because they are “low key home videos to us.”
