‘KUWTK’: Why Kourtney Kardashian Called Out Scott Disick in Front of Sofia Richie

Are you up to date on Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 17?

If not, this season partially focuses on Scott Disick’s efforts to get his girlfriend, Sofia Richie, better acquainted with his ex and baby mama, Kourtney Kardashian. But, as you can imagine, it’s not as easy as it sounds.

In a clip from the upcoming episode, which airs on Oct. 6, the three of them set off for a vacation in Finland, but it’s not long before the drama starts. At one point, Kardashian slams her ex for being “negative” while he’s around her and Richie.

Inside Disick, Richie, and Kardashian’s trip to Finland

As we said, Disick wanted Richie to get closer to Kardashian, whom he dated for nearly 10 years before they split in 2015 and with whom he shares three children: Mason, Penelope, and Reign. So, they teamed up for a family trip to Finland.

During the trip, they toss on their swim gear and get into a hot tub, where Kardashian and Richie dive into full-fledged girl talk, with the Poosh founder offering her best beauty tips to the model.

“This is nice,” Disick quips. “We flew to Finland to get in the hot tub.”

After Disick asks the kids whether they should “get out,” Kardashian calls him “negative.”

“You’re so negative,” Kardashian declares. “Has anyone ever told you you’re like a negative…”

Scott concedes that he’s “a negative guy,” but Kardashian points out how “amazing” the experience is for their children.

“But you were definitely looking for a reason to leave,” she adds. “You could just say, ‘This isn’t for me. We’re gonna go.’”

Kardashian later says in a confessional, “Scott really wanted to come with us to Finland, so I don’t know why he’s just having such a negative attitude. I just want everyone to have a great time and a great experience. And he’s just kind of putting a dark cloud over it.”

Disick has struggled to be around both women at the same time

In a KUWTK clip that came out on Oct. 1, the Flip It Like Disick star tells Richie how weird and stressful it is to date while co-parenting, explaining, “It is a really awkward situation.”

It probably didn’t help that the Kardashian-Jenner family had previously expressed opposition to the relationship, with Kourt seemingly calling it “bizarre.”

Some family members had even made fun of the pair’s 16-year age gap, including Kendall Jenner, who once joked that Richie looked like one of Disick’s children.

Disick says in the same clip that he’s tried his best to make Kardashian and Richie feel comfortable but added, “It does take a toll on me.”

Their relationship has gotten a lot better

Things between Disick, Richie, and Kardashian have gotten a lot smoother in the months since these episodes were filmed.

In fact, they’ve taken multiple vacations together, and Kardashian even said that she’s “most proud of” the relationship she has with Richie.

Beyond that, the model has since become “best friends” with Kylie Jenner, whom she celebrated her birthday with back in August.

So, while it wasn’t easy, we’re glad to see that they worked out their issues. You can watch their journey from foes to friends at 9 p.m. EST on Sundays on E!.
