Kylie Jenner Hasn’t Even Released Her New Skincare Line and It’s Already Getting Mixed Reviews
Jenner recently announced that she would be launching her very own skincare line later this month, called Kylie Skin, and many fans are excited to test it out.
The mogul has teased her new skincare products on social and though they are “vegan, cruelty-free, paraben and sulfate free,” fans are calling out some of the products for using ingredients that are not good for skin.
Kylie is selling an entire skincare routine
On May 10, Kylie Jenner revealed on Instagram that she is officially launching her very own skincare line.
The makeup mogul revealed that the skincare line will be available on May 22 and will feature a foaming face wash, walnut face scrub, vanilla milk toner, face moisturizer, vitamin c serum and eye cream.
On May 11, Jenner posted the first photo of one of the skincare products to her Instagram with the caption “first step.”
While on her Instagram stories, Kylie revealed that the foaming face wash was the first product she and her team created for the new skincare line.
“I knew exactly what I wanted,” she said, adding that the face wash’s formula is “so luxurious.”
According to Teen Vogue, the entire Kylie Skin line will retail for $125, but each of the six products are priced under $30.
Kylie Jenner eventually revealed the packaging for all six of her skincare products and though they look like good products, fans started sharing their thoughts about the ingredients.
Many are concerned about the face scrub
Though Kylie Jenner emphasized that her entire collection is suitable for all skin types, some people are not too sure that is true.
After seeing that the Kylie Skin face scrub is made up of walnuts, fans immediately took to the comments to share their concern.
One fan wrote, “Girl, you know Walnuts are not good for the skin right?”
Another fan commented, “Walnut is the WORST thing you can EVER use to exfoliate your skin!!!!”
As it turns out, crushed walnuts particles are considered to be way too harsh for your skin and having that in a facial scrub is not good at all.
Since a few fans shared their knowledge about walnut particles in a facial scrub, they have made other fans feel a little apprehensive about buying Kylie Skin.
According to those fans, if there is already an ingredient in the product that is not good for skin, what other concerning ingredients are in the collection?
Kylie Jenner and her team saw how concerned fans were and shared that the ingredients for all of the Kylie Skin products will be coming soon.
The makeup mogul is known for being pretty transparent with the ingredients of her products and only want to give her loyal fans the best.
If there is something fans are concerned about, you can bet Kylie Jenner will fix it right away.
