Is Lady Gaga Starring In ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’ With Bradley Cooper?
Ever since A Star is Born hit theaters, fans have been obsessed with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga as a duo. In addition to hoping the two get together romantically (simply because their on-screen chemistry is so palpable), fans have been dying to know when the pair will star in another film together.
There’s a rumor that Lady Gaga will be playing Bradley Cooper’s love interest in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’
Recently, rumors have been circulating that the two might work together in the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Cooper is the voice of the fiesty Rocket Raccoon in the franchise and, according to Hollywood Life, Gaga may be brought on to voice his love interest.
In Marvel Comics, Rocket Raccoon’s romantic interest is a sweet otter named Lylla. The two hail from the same planet and Lylla is the heiress to a toy-making empire. In the comics, Rocket and Lylla used to work together until they parted ways and Rocket began working with Groot.
“There is a very strong possibility that Lady Gaga and Bradley will be working together again on Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Only some cast names have been released but the word is Bradley will reprise his role of Rocket Raccoon and Gaga will play his love interest. Their characters are animated but still, it’s exciting. Audiences want them together and certainly everyone recognizes that appeal, they’re box office gold together, it’s very likely that this will happen,” an insider told Hollywood Life.
Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are closing their ‘A Star is Born’ chapter
Hollywood Life also goes on to feature another source that says Cooper and Gaga don’t plan on singing “Shallow” together in the future much more, if at all.
“Bradley and Lady Gaga realize that A Star Is Born was a moment in time and very special and they will never forget their performances of the song especially during the Oscars but they don’t have a plan to perform it again because they don’t want to dilute the song and ruin the history they have made with it,” says the source. “Would they consider doing something for a Lifetime Achievement moment down the line? Absolutely, but there is no plans of doing the song together anytime soon. Will they work together again or maybe record something else in the future, that is definitely likely but when it comes to performing “Shallow” it will be a while before they even consider performing it again.”
The source comes forward amidst rumors that Cooper and Gaga have plans to perform “Shallow” at the 2019 Glastonbury musical festival. However, the rumors have been confirmed false.
“Before this one gets out of control… the answer is no, that isn’t happening,” the festival’s organizer said on Twitter on June 24.
