Lala Kent and Other ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Arrive in Kentucky for Jax and Brittany’s Wedding
The big day is almost here. On June 29, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright will marry in her home state of Kentucky. Many of their Vanderpump Rules co-stars will be there for the wedding. Lala Kent, Stassi Schroeder, and Scheana Shay are all documenting their travel to the Bluegrass State ahead of the celebration on Saturday.
Which ‘Vanderpump Rules’ stars will be at the wedding?
The Pump Rules cast will make a strong showing at Cartwright and Taylor’s wedding. On Wednesday, Kent shared a video to her Instagram story showing her journey from California to Kentucky. She traveled with Kristen Doute and then later met up with Katie Maloney-Schwartz.
“We’re going to Kentucky!” Kent says in a video Doute shared on her Instagram. Tom Schwartz was also on the flight.
Schroeder also shared a snap from her flight along with a video of her awed reaction to her room at the Kentucky Castle, the luxury venue where the couple will host their wedding.
Shay is bringing her mom Erica Van Olphen to the wedding. “Off to Kentucky!! We’re coming for ya Jax and Britt!” she wrote. Several other cast members also traveled to the wedding with their moms, including Schwartz and Schroeder.
Lisa Vanderpump may not attend
While most of the Pump Rules cast will be celebrating in Kentucky this weekend, it’s not clear if Lisa Vanderpump will be attending the wedding. The ex-Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star lost her mother just over a week ago, and an insider told Radar Online that the restaurateur has sent Taylor and Cartwright her regrets. Reportedly, Vanderpump doesn’t feel up to filming right now and wants to avoid the cameras that will be documenting the event for the next season of VPR.
Taylor and Cartwright are chronicling their pre-wedding activities
While their friends are just arriving, Taylor and Cartwright have been in Kentucky for several days. The soon-to-be-married couple has been chronicling their pre-wedding activities on social media.
Cartwright shared a video of people filling what appear to be gift bags for wedding guests as well as a peek at her wedding day hair kit. Meanwhile, Taylor seemed to be enjoying spending time with his bride’s family. The couple attended a little league game for Cartwright’s nephew, and Taylor said the event had him thinking about fatherhood.
“I [have] never been more excited to be a dad, I am just gonna say it now I am going to be ‘that’ father in the stands and I don’t care!!” he wrote.
Taylor also tweeted that the couple have picked up their marriage license.
What we know about the wedding
While some details about the Taylor and Cartwright wedding are being kept under wraps, such as what the bride’s dress looks like, the couple has shared quite a few details with fans.
The wedding will happen at the Kentucky Castle, a lavish venue where a reception can cost tens of thousands of dollars. But don’t expect the event to be stuffy — Taylor has promised that guests will be served Taco Bell as a midnight snack. We also know that Brittany plans to change her last name to Cauchi, which is Taylor’s legal last name.
