Lala Kent From ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Makes a Stunning Announcement on Instagram
Lala Kent from Vanderpump Rules recently suffered the devastation of
Most recently she appeared on Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry. Henry connected with Kent about her future as a mother. Plus he managed to make a connection with Kent’s father. The episode was very emotional, not only for Kent but also for her mother and two brothers who were sitting off camera.

She still really misses her father
While speaking to the camera, Kent said that she was still in pain and felt an enormous loss. “I feel very, very blessed as I think back on my time with him,” Kent says. “And there’s no regrets. That man was my f**king soldier. My rock star. My cheerleader.”
“Even though I feel like half of me is just gone,” she continues through her tears. “I know he’s looking at me. And I know he’s f**king proud. I know he laughs at my jokes, even when I’m inappropriate.”
She adds that she is extremely grateful he was her dad. “The day that he passed, the world truly lost an epic human being,” Kent says.
Kent also makes this stunning announcement
Kent started her Instagram story saying that she was feeling inspired. “I have a heart that is very full right now,” she says. “I know I’ve spoken with you guys before about my struggle with alcohol. Five months ago, I came to the realization that I am an alcoholic.”
She continues by saying she is now a friend of Bill W. “You will never know how much this program means to me. Has given me new life. I will never, ever preach to anybody. I’ll only speak from my own experiences. I encourage everyone to live their best life.”
Kent adds that she used to say if you don’t have to be sober, she wouldn’t recommend it. “
Sobriety is helping her through grief
While many people may turn to substances to numb the pain from grief, Kent says being sober gives her strength. “The program has allowed me to sit down and remember my dad in a clearer frame of mind,” she says. “And remember what he brought to my life.” She recounts the strength and integrity that her father (and mother) demonstrated too.
“For anyone who has lost someone whether it was yesterday or 20 years ago, you mourn that baby however you f**king need to mourn it,” she adds. “You kick, you scream…you know what? I’ve got your back.”
