This is How Lauren Conrad Looks Amazing When She Travels
The holidays are here, and that means traveling to see friends and family. Unfortunately, that can also mean wrinkled clothes and a not-so-fresh look upon arrival. How do you still look great when you’re traveling? If you haven’t quite figured that out yet, there’s help out there just for you. Lauren Conrad offered some tips on her blog for how to avoid looking like a mess during the holiday travel season.
Pick a comfortable outfit

Sure, you want to look good, but you also want to be comfortable. It’s not fun being uncomfortable in the name of fashion, especially if you have a long trip ahead of you. Conrad advises choosing a comfy outfit.
One thing you’ll never regret? Wearing comfy clothes while you travel. Whether you’re on an airplane, in a car, or riding on a train, nothing beats a cozy sweater and stretchy leggings. My go-to airport outfits usually include a sweatshirt like this one, my favorite pair of LC Lauren Conrad jeggings, and breathable sneakers. That way you still look completely put together without feeling restricted by your wardrobe choices.
Choose layers

The weather at your destination might be a lot different than your current location. Conrad suggests planning for significant temperature changes by wearing layers. This way, you can take off pieces if you’re too hot or add pieces if you get cold.
Airports and airplanes can be pretty chilly this time of year. Because of that, I always opt for removable layers when I travel. Tie a sweater around your waist just in case you get cold, stuff a scarf in your bag, or carry on bulkier coats that may take up some much-needed space in your luggage. I’ve found myself using a jacket as a blanket or neck pillow on multiple occasions, ha! If you don’t end up needing your layers, that’s great too. Better safe than sorry.
Bring a stylish tote bag that can fit most of your personal items

Carry a stylish tote bag that can double as a travel bag. This will brighten up your outfit and reduce the number of bags you have to bring with you. Conrad says she always travels with a large carry-all so she can have all her necessities on hand.
I never travel without an oversize tote bag as my personal item. A regular purse just doesn’t cut it, especially for people like me who have a kid in tow. This LC Lauren Conrad tote is big enough to fit all of your necessities (I’m talking headphones, laptop, wallet, you name it!), yet small enough to fit under the seat in front of you. I always pack a purse in my bigger suitcase, but this tote bag is chic enough to wear to your final destination.
