Liam Hemsworth Breaks Silence About Miley Cyrus Split: His Heartbreaking Comment Reveals He’s Hurting
Since the news of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s split, it’s been evident that Cyrus is handling the separation pretty well, as seen by her girls’ trip with her sister and Brody Jenner’s ex, Kaitlynn Carter. By comparison, Hemsworth looks devastated… and his comment about their breakup is heartbreaking.
Hemsworth comments on the breakup
As these things go, Hemsworth reportedly doesn’t want to talk about the breakup but did respond when he was asked for a comment by a reporter from Daily Mail Australia. Hemsworth was with his brother, Chris Hemsworth, when asked about the split and allegedly responded, “You don’t understand what it’s like. I don’t wanna talk about it, mate.”
Cyrus, by comparison, has been living her best life on vacation with one of her Instagram posts appearing to give some commentary on the separation.
She captioned a post: “Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win. Like the mountain I am standing on top of , which was once under water , connected with Africa , change is inevitable. The Dolomites were not created over night, it was over millions of years that this magnificent beauty was formed. My dad always told me ‘Nature never hurries but it is always on time’…. it fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own ….”
Her caption seems to echo the statement her rep released, which noted: “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Hemsworth’s body language is revealing
Photos of Hemsworth that followed news of the breakup have people talking, as the actor, who is staying with his brother Chris, looked quite glum.
Body language expert Judi James weighed in with how the couple is handling the split quit differently, telling The Mirror: “Liam and Miley could barely have defined themselves as more different people with more differing reactions to their shock split than they do with these photos.”
She continued: “Miley seems to have rolled back into ‘rebellious teen’ mode, showing off her gym-honed midriff to imply strength and resilience but with her hair and her facial expressions suggesting confusion as though she might have lost her way in terms of love and emotion. It looks as though she might want to tough it out but it doesn’t look heartfelt.”
Hemsworth, on the other hand, James notes, “has presented more signals of genuine resilience, with the message being he’s healing via surfing and his crew of friends and of course the photogenic torso display suggests he’s back in the game in terms of being admired by his fans.”
She added, “But then there is the rather equally-posed-looking reflective shot where he sits alone, gazing into the distance as though wondering where it all went wrong, with one hand balled into a fist to suggest inner pain.”
