Lisa Vanderpump and Andy Cohen Spill a Little Tea About the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Reunion

Viewers are already fastening their seat belts for the Vanderpump Rules reunion. But after watching Lisa Vanderpump and host Andy Cohen dish about it on Watch What Happens Live, viewers should possibly be prepared for a blood bath.

The two managed to chat about what went down during the last few minutes of WWHL and the WWHL After Show. They not only reaffirmed what cast members hinted about, but they also identified which cast members were in the burning hot seat.

Fans already know the reunion is going to be insane

To recap, Jax Taylor was pretty chatty on Twitter after the reunion filmed. He seemed completely overwhelmed, tweeting, “This is the worst/best reunion we have ever had, the amount of all out brawls and we are only half way through. I had no idea it was going to go this way. None.”

Backing up his horror was Scheana Shay who implied the gathering became physical. “There was also physical contact between Billie [Lee] and a few castmates,” she told US Weekly. Kristen Doute also posted to her Instagram story in tears and hugging her dogs.

Doute also told US Weekly that some cast members are no longer in the inner circle.  “Our cast is actually like one big, happy family, and we have the extras, so the extras are divided from the main cast.”

Vanderpump and Cohen dish about ‘Vanderpump Rules’

During WWHL, Cohen asked Vanderpump about the whole Lala Kent, Billie Lee, and James Kennedy drama. “I saw a lot about this on social media and you have to understand, I had no idea,” she remarks. But when it came to Kent lashing out, Vanderpump says that Kent was in a very bad place at the time. She had recently lost her father, “And wasn’t herself at all this year,” Vanderpump says.

Cohen then asks Vanderpump the “age-old question” of whether Taylor has really changed. “Well, they say a leopard doesn’t change his spots,” Vanderpump starts. “But they are painted over. I think as we talked about this in the reunion, its self serving to him because she [Brittany Cartwright] is such a good girl and I think that’s why he loves her so much.”

And about that reunion…

At that point, Cohen comments about the reunion. “By the way, that reunion was a blood bath,” he says. Vanderpump agrees and adds, “I know, like after two minutes.”

Vanderpump and Cohen revisit the reunion during the WWHL After Show, which is when the reveal who may be hit the hardest from the cast. “That reunion, I mean I told you before this show…ohh,” Cohen sighs. “I kept turning to you, I was like whispering to you after the reunion.”

Again Vanderpump agrees and says it was crazy. “I was glad we were there together,” Cohen adds. “Holding each other’s hands,” Vanderpump adds. “We were getting each other through it,” Cohen says.

Vanderpump says that because the relationships are so intertwined and deeply entrenched the stakes are high. “There’s a lot of passion there and sometimes no filters,” Vanderpump adds. “AKA James Kennedy.” Cohen adds, “And Kristen.” Vanderpump sits back in her chair while Cohen says, “It was a lot.”
