Lisa Vanderpump’s Shady Reaction to Sarah Paulson’s Claim She ‘Wasn’t That Nice’
It didn’t take long for Lisa Vanderpump to react to Sarah Paulson’s diss. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum took time off of her busy schedule, not filming the new season of the Bravo reality series, to comment on the dig. Her answer was filled with the British humor that has characterized the animal activist since becoming a household name.
How did Sarah Paulson diss Lisa Vanderpump?
The amazing Paulson sat down with Vanity Fair for a fun interview taking a lie detector test. Since the reporter knew the American Horror Story alum loves the Real Housewives, she was asked deep and important questions about the franchises.
As you may know, Bethenny Frankel announced she was leaving The Real Housewives of New York City ahead of season 12. Paulson’s thoughts on how the show might change without the Skinnygirl founder in the group were critical.
“I think the star of the Real Housewives is the franchise itself. So I think it will survive without her, yes. Although I, personally, will miss her. I’d like them to bring back Jill Zarin, though, personally,” she told Vanity Fair.
The questions shifted over to the Beverly Hills franchise of the show where Paulson was questioned about Vanderpump leaving.
“You know, I don’t want her coming after me on Twitter, but I won’t miss her,” she bravely said. “I miss the dynamic she brings to the group, which is, you know, the fear of God she instills in everyone.”
That response shows you that the Emmy-winning actress is a true fan and knows how Vanderpump operates. Her fear was instilled following an encounter she had with the Vanderpump Rules producer.
“I met her once at a party and she wasn’t that nice to me,” she revealed. “Am I going to get in trouble for that? She wasn’t that nice.”
How did Lisa Vanderpump find out about Sarah Paulson’s shade?
Paulson’s opinion about Vanderpump upset her fans who took to Twitter to attack the star in defense of their queen.
“Sarah Paulson can claim all she wants. Her story lacks details, hence, I don’t believe her. By the way, LVP has twice the number of followers on Twitter than Sarah has,” another follower added.
It was through fans’ reactions to the news that Vanderpump found out what Paulson said about her.
“Sorry, but who is she,” a Vanderpump fan asked to which she replied, “not sure, lol.”
If the previous response from Vanderpump wasn’t shady enough, her second one was wordier.
“I am sorry, not sure I know her,” she replied. “And I don’t believe or remember meeting her. I try to be nice to everybody lol.”
The “laughing out loud” at the end can’t get shadier than that and Vanderpump’s British humor seems to be on overdrive.
Vanderpump supporters tried to push the narrative that the only reason that Paulson said that about the former RHOBH star was because she’s friends with Lisa Rinna. One fan pushed this theory and Vanderpump replied saying, “oh ok.”
Lisa Vanderpump quit.
After struggling through season 9 of RHOBH, Vanderpump called it quits during the middle of production. The ladies confronting her for leaking stories to the media was too much for LVP to handle being that she was also mourning that loss of her brother.
“The last year was a very negative year for me,” she told Extra in June. “I feel like we’re moving forward. They have had their resolution. I just had a horrible time with the show and the women. It was a very sad time in my life and it wasn’t made any better. I just decided to walk away.”
Although Vanderpump is no longer part of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills franchise, she is still part of the Bravo family. Vanderpump is the producer behind the successful Vanderpump Rules which will be returning to the network by year’s end.
