‘Little People, Big World’: Amy Roloff Shared Her Absolute Favorite Thing to Do With Boyfriend Chris Marek

We’ve seen Amy Roloff’s ups and downs since the very beginning of Little People, Big World. We recall the earlier years of her marriage to husband Matt Roloff. Together, they raised their four children — only one who also has dwarfism like they do — and they upheld their family business on Roloff Farms. Now, everything’s changed. Matt and Amy are divorced, and the four kids we remember as being so young are all grown up and starting families of their own.

Amy’s current relationship with her boyfriend, Chris Marek, has its own charming storyline we all love. And she recently gushed to Instagram about one of her favorite activities to do with him. Here’s what she said.

Amy confessed she really liked Chris after he took her on a motorcycle date

After Amy was divorced, she seemed convinced she would never date again — and she also never expected a person of average height to fall for her. That was long before she met Chris, of course. The couple seemed to first come into contact at a singles mixer, and while they didn’t hit it off at the time, they remained in contact and set up a date later on. And it was on that fateful date that Amy seemed to give love another chance

Chris asked Amy out on a motorcycle ride, and she had a blast getting to know this side of him. “I could have talked for hours and he just said so much … I could have been on this bike ride for hours,” she recalled. “I want to get to know him. I find him attractive, I find him interesting, and I would hope that, you know, maybe he finds, you know, that in me a little bit.” And get to know him she did, as the happy couple will be celebrating three years together this coming September.

She recently said going on rides with him brings her a ton of joy

It seems that first motorcycle ride with Chris was so memorable for Amy that that’s become one of her favorite activities to take part in with him to this day. She recently posted an adorable photo of the both of them on Instagram. “A fantastic first motorcycle ride last Saturday landed us at spectacular Silver Falls State Park. I love riding with this man!” she captioned the post.

Amy then went even deeper with her feelings about riding with Chris, which isn’t always a side of her viewers see. She explained that while riding on motorcycles makes her feel more connected with Chris, she also thinks of her now-deceased sibling when on the back of a bike. “It also reminds me so much of my oldest sister Cyndi, she passed away from an illness 4 years ago, who loved to ride,” she added. “I love being and riding with Chris and can’t wait to go on the next one. I’m very thankful I get to enjoy some of life little moments.”

Her fans are hoping an engagement is in the future

Fans love seeing Amy this happy, especially when they think back to how seriously throttled she was by the divorce. And now, it seems an engagement might be getting closer and closer for the happy couple. People notes while Chris and Amy were on a camping trip with their friends Ron and Beth, the topic of marriage came up. And while Chris admitted the idea of marriage has scared him in the past, he’s “certainly not against” it now. To that, Amy said, “I’m glad to see that you’re not against marriage, because that would be a problem.”

Amy also openly expressed how she would be ecstatic to get married again. “I’m not here to push him, I’m not here for him to do something that he is nowhere [near] ready for. But if marriage is meant to happen for me again, the second time, then I would sing ‘Hallelujah,'” she said.
