‘Little People, Big World’ Fans Just Said They ‘Cried’ and Felt Heartbroken for Amy Roloff

It’s hard to believe another season of Little People, Big World has come to an end. The Roloff family has been in our lives for over a decade, and we’ve loved watching Matt and Amy Roloff navigate their lives, raise their four kids, and help keep Roloff Farms running smoothly. Unfortunately, Matt and Amy’s divorce completely shifted the dynamic of the farm — and this season, Amy was faced with some serious decisions to make.

Amy’s finally made her big decision, and fans feel totally heartbroken for her. Here’s what they’re saying.

This season of LPBW was all about the fate of Roloff Farms

We’ve been hearing about the potential fate of Roloff Farms since before the beginning of this season. During the show, Amy was still living in the big farmhouse on the property, and while she and Matt are officially divorced and have completely moved on with new significant others, Matt was still residing on the farm property in a smaller home with his girlfriend, Caryn. Matt made it known he was ready to move on completely from the property and sell it — but for Amy, the decision was much more difficult.

As Amy said on the show, “One of the reasons I stayed in the big house [is] because that was in my best interest going through separation, divorce, and I think I needed time to say that I had a permanency, I had a place, I had something that I could hang on to, grasp, in order to figure out ‘I’m officially divorced.'” For Matt, his wanting to sell the farm was much less emotional. He saw the farm as needing a lot of upkeep and wished to start fresh with Caryn doing something else.

Amy made her decision regarding what she wants to do

Fans have been waiting for Amy’s decision since the first episode, and it looks like viewers finally got their answer regarding what Amy’s going to do with the property. Pop Culture notes Amy’s choosing to sell her equity of the farm and move on, which has completely shocked her fans.

As Amy explained on the finale, “This farm worked for me because we had two people making it happen. I can’t do it on my own. Everything for me has changed on the farm.” For that reason, she’s choosing to let her portion of the property go. While it took awhile for her to get to this decision, even Matt mentioned how shocked he was that this was what she chose. “I’m a little surprised Amy is choosing to sell her equity of the farm, but you know, it feels like it might be the right decision.” He also told Amy she’s always welcome on the property — but we have a feeling she might not be back often.

Fans claim they’re crying for Amy and feel heartbroken for her

Fans have already made it known they hoped Amy chose to keep the farm in the end, so now that they know Amy’s decision, they took to Instagram to share how upset they are for her. “Cried. I felt your pain coming from the tv. I respect your decision but I wish you would’ve kept your side,” one fan commented on this Instagram photo. Another added, “Wow, anyone else feel like crying for Amy?”

It seems many fans are expressing their anger toward Matt’s girlfriend, Caryn, too. Caryn was a farm employee before she was dating Matt, and now she’ll be on the farm instead of Amy. “Caryn truly needs to butt out. Her comments are rude and nasty,” one fan commented. And another added, “Cried for you and I felt your sorrow. Not of a fan of your ex and his girlfriend.”

We’re hoping Amy is happier now that her big decision is made, and we can’t wait to see what she does in the future.
