‘Little People, Big World’: Tori Roloff Just Revealed She Had Trouble Getting Pregnant a Second Time
This season of Little People, Big World is winding down, and viewers have gathered a ton of new information about the Roloffs since the beginning. We’re still anxiously awaiting news on what Matt and Amy Roloff are going to decide to do with Roloff Farms, of course. But aside from the tension in their relationship post-divorce, the family has wonderful news. And it’s that Tori Roloff, Zach Roloff’s wife, is pregnant with baby No. 2.
Fans are beyond ecstatic with the news, but it turns out it may have been difficult for her to conceive. Here’s what she said on Instagram.
Tori Roloff is currently pregnant with a baby girl
Tori Roloff announced her pregnancy via Instagram in mid-May. “Zachary and I are so excited to announce that Jackson is going to be a big brother! We are expecting a sweet baby girl this November!” she captioned the sweet post of her, Zach, and their 2-year-old son, Jackson. While the pregnancy announcement seemingly came out of nowhere, it shouldn’t be too much of a surprise that Tori is expecting, as she’s mentioned on recent episodes of Little People, Big World that she was getting “baby fever” — and Zach is totally on board for more children as well.
The Roloff family is clearly thrilled with the news, and so are Tori’s followers. As Audrey Roloff commented, “Wahoooooo CANT WAIT FOR THE GIRLSIES TO HANGGGGG. I’m so happy for you Tori!” And Matt Roloff added, “Grandpa is hitting the lotto!!” Amy Roloff also wrote a sweet message with, “My heart is full of so much love over this. This grandma is so happy and for you both!”
She said on Instagram that it took her 8 months to conceive
For living their lives out on TV, Zach and Tori still manage to keep some aspects of their lives private — and no one had any idea that Tori was actively trying to get pregnant for all of 2019. Life & Style notes on May 14, Tori took to Instagram Q&A to answer some of her fan’s pressing questions — and some truth came out about her current pregnancy.
One fan asked Tori, “How long did you try to get pregnant before succeeding?” To that, Tori answered, “8 months. Which was hard and makes me have such an appreciation for women in general. Conceiving isn’t as easy as it’s made out to be.” Since Tori seemed to have trouble with her second pregnancy, fans are wondering if she’ll continue with her plans for family expansion once her baby girl is born. She and Zach have both said in the past that they’d love anywhere from three to five children — but it may not be as easy as they thought.
Tori’s said in the past that she doesn’t want her followers speculating if she’s pregnant
Tori doesn’t mind answering fan questions now that she’s made her pregnancy announcement, but she’s made it clear in the past she doesn’t want anyone speculating on whether or not she’s expecting in the future. She posted a photo of her, Zach, and Jackson back in 2018 with the caption, “No I’m not pregnant. Yes I love baggy clothes and food. What if I was a women who couldn’t get pregnant? What if I was a women who had body image issues? Asking a woman if she’s pregnant can be extremely damaging.”
She then went on to say that she knows her followers are asking about a future pregnancy because they’re genuinely curious and would love for her to expand her family, but “I say this because time and time again I’ve watched my own friends and family struggle with having a baby and I know how much it hurts every time this question is asked.” And now that we know Tori herself had difficulties conceiving, we can see why she posted such a message for her followers.
We can’t wait to see how the Roloffs will prepare for baby No. 2 over the next few months. Here’s to the happy (and growing) family!
