‘Little People, Big World’: Why Fans Are Criticizing Jeremy and Audrey Roloff After a Recent Interview

With so many reality stars making it big these days, it’s tough to find more wholesome families to follow. Thankfully, the Roloffs are still around on Little People, Big World. The show chronicles the lives of Matt and Amy Roloff and their four kids as they navigate life and the family business, Roloff Farms, as little people. A lot has changed over the years — like the couple divorcing — and many major players have also left the show. Jeremy Roloff, who’s all grown up and married to Audrey Roloff, has since decided to go his own way and no longer takes part in filming.

That doesn’t mean Jeremy and Audrey are totally out of the public eye, however. Recently, they did an interview with Access Live — but it didn’t go without fan criticism.

Jeremy and Audrey Roloff visited Access Live to discuss their new book

We don’t often see Jeremy and Audrey getting time in front of the spotlight on other major networks, but they recently took part in an interview with Access Live. The happy couple just released their book, A Love Letter Life, and they’re excited to promote their story despite the two of them choosing to take a step back from Little People, Big World. A Love Letter Life is the story of how Jeremy and Audrey fell in love, and it also gives insight into what their covenant marriage is all about as well as advice for future couples.

During the interview, Jeremy and Audrey don’t just discuss the new release of their book, either. Jeremy’s questioned about why he chose to leave the show. “I just reached a point where it was never really something I said ‘yes’ to, I just grew up doing it,” Jeremy candidly said. “And it’s been amazing. If you asked me if I’d do it all over again, I would say yes. … But, it’s just a long time. It’s time to do something else.”

Audrey also discusses how she and Jeremy first met during the interview — and they told Access Live how their friendship developed into love. They have a sweet story to tell, though it appears not everyone feels that way.

Fans are slamming Audrey and Jeremy for giving marriage advice when they’re so young

The Access Live interviewers get right into certain chapters of the book during the interview — and one thing the couple mentions in A Love Letter Life is how they keep the spice in their marriage alive. Audrey and Jeremy explain in the book how they made their relationship work despite long distance, and now, they sit down every week to talk about what’s going on in their lives. They view these conversations as vital for effectively communicating with one another.

Not everyone trusts Jeremy and Audrey’s advice, though. As one fan said in the comments of the interview, “They haven’t even been married long enough to give advice.” And another added, “They know NOTHING. The book is popular because of the show.” Yet another echoed the same sentiment with, “I’ve been married 31 years and as far as I see not everything works for everyone. They certainly haven’t put in the time or years to give advice.”

Others seem to think they left Little People, Big World to make it big on their own

While Audrey and Jeremy offering marriage advice certainly rubbed a few fans the wrong way, it also seems like they’re hitting other nerves. As previously stated, Jeremy explains in the interview exactly why he chose to leave Little People, Big World. And while he and Audrey are making it big with their own pursuits, it seems some fans think they’re hungry for money and fame that’s disconnected with the other Roloff family members.

As one fan wrote, “They’ll be back” — and to that, another commented, “Yep, when the money runs out!” Others mentioned they think the couple may want their own reality show when all is said and done. As for what Audrey and Jeremy are up to next, we’ll have to wait and see.
