Love Disney Content? Get Paid $1,000 To Watch Disney+ Movies and Shows
Cush jobs aren’t the easiest to come by, so when an opportunity comes along that combines one’s favorite pastime and cash, you should jump on it. We are happily spreading the word about a sweet—albeit short-term—gig for people who love Disney content and have time to spare. If you are looking to earn some money for your viewing habits and Disney love, this could be right up your alley, and you’ll just have to spend time on Disney+.
The gist of the job
The posting comes courtesy of Reviews.org, and the company is looking to employ someone to watch content on Disney+. According to the job post which is titled “Disney+ Dream Job,” the right candidate(s) has to watch 30 Disney-owned feature films or show episodes in their entirety—including the credits—within 30 days. Anything in the Marvel lineup is game too.
If you’re hired, you’ll have to complete the 30-day challenge portion and once that’s done, you will have to provide an authentic review of the Disney+ platform which is set to launch on Nov. 12.
What will bump your chances up? Link to a video of yourself giving a review of one of your favorite Disney creations and let your personality and fandom shine. Do you own themed merchandise? Show it off while conducting your review. Are you a cosplayer? Show that off too. Are you a Disney savant? Let it glow through your video presentation.
The chosen person will get paid $1,000 plus earn a few other bonuses. It’s like a contest, game, and job all rolled up into one.
What else makes this a cushy job?
To help make this dream job sound even dreamier, the ultimate Disney fan will love that Reviews.org is offering a Disney-themed movie kit which is stocked with a blanket, 4 cups, and a popcorn maker.
In addition to the cash payment and the merch, you’ll also be given a one-year subscription to Disney+, free of charge!
Is there a catch?
The job listing and its conditions are pretty straightforward, but there are rules in place. You must be at least 18 years old, which automatically excludes kiddies and teens who are well-versed in all things Disney. This opportunity is only open to U.S. residents and if chosen, will work as independent contractors.
Reviews.org will select up to 5 people to fulfill the role, and notify winners within one week of the application’s closing date. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 7 and there is no cost to apply for the job.
Can you watch anything on Disney+?
If you’re not sure where to start, Reviews.org has a list of suggested movies and series to indulge in for the 30 days. On top of that, Disney+ recently released its cache of content offerings that will be available upon launch. You can choose from Disney classics or the platform’s new, original fare which consists of shows such as The Mandalorian and The Lady and the Tramp.
Should you find time in your busy schedule, you can check out this three-hour trailer from Disney that lays out almost every piece of content that will be hitting Disney+ come November. Viewers will have many options, and if you land this job, there’s no shortage of treasures.
