What we know about ‘Insecure’ Season 4 so far

Insecure’s long-gestating fourth season has been in the works for a while. When the show returns in 2020, it will likely have been off the air for two whole years.

On the show’s hiatus, HBO president Casey Bloys said in April of this year, “Well, Issa became a big movie star!. We’re not the first place to deal with this, but when you’re in business with very creative and talented people, there’s a lot more opportunities for people to do things. Issa, I think, partly wanted a break to come back to it fresh.”
