Hernandez, 33, first gained mainstream recognition when she joined Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta as one of its first six cast members. She starred on the show for six seasons before departing in 2017. She also starred in the short-lived Love & Hip Hop spinoff series, Stevie & Joseline: Go Hollywood.

While on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, she was most known for her relationship with Stevie J and the contentious relationship with his ex, Mimi Faust. The love triangle between Joseline, Stevie J, and Mimi is a major storyline in the show. Before dating Stevie J, Joseline was a stripper who went by the name of Shenellica Bettencourt.

The Jasmine Brand reports she is eventually set to make a return to Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
