‘Love Is Blind’: Diamond Jack Questions Carlton Morton’s Motive for Going on the Show
Diamond thinks Carlton went on ‘Love Is Blind’ for the wrong reasons
In a recent interview with the podcast Love In Sight, Diamond says, looking back, she doesn’t think Carlton ever wanted to work things out with her. She didn’t want to walk away after he told her he’s bisexual. But she did want to run away as fast as she could after their discussion became explosive.
“When we were at the pool, like I said, I wasn’t trying to attack him, I wasn’t trying to disrespect him by no means. I was really just trying to ask him questions and get clarity on a lot. I’ve never dated a bisexual man. Let’s just first say that. If it means I have questions, don’t label me as something else,” she said.
Diamond says she felt like Carlton didn’t want to have a conversation with her. She says he immediately became very defensive.
“Honestly, from now, I don’t really feel like he was trying to [work things out]. I feel like it was a different motive and I think that’s one of the things I said, ‘What was your motive? What was your motive behind the show? Or Experiment?’ Now, I personally don’t feel like he was in there for the right reasons. And I feel like that’s what triggered it, too, because I was saying that and he wasn’t liking that,” she said.
In fact, the way Diamond remembers it, Carlton was who suggested he wasn’t there “for the right reasons” first.
“If you listen to our conversation, listen to our argument, he says ‘What? You think I only did this for a show?’ Like you’re telling on yourself, I didn’t say any of that,” she said.
Diamond and Carlton don’t talk at all
Today, Diamond and Carlton do not get along. She recently blocked him on Instagram because she continues to be harassed by “Team Carlton.”
“I’ve been called a disgusting human being, they talk about my appearance, they talk about my hair, of course. They call themselves Team Carlton so they’ll come to my page and try to say some very bad things about me. But like I’ve said, I’m built from a strong cloth so those words don’t really hurt me honestly,” she said in an interview with The Domenick Nati Show on April 1.
