Love Is Not in the Air for the ‘Jersey Shore’ Cast

The stars of Jersey Shore are no stranger to drama. Whether its boardwalk drama or personal problems, the cast has weathered it all, and this year is no different. Love is not in the air for the MTV stars. Impending divorces, legal trouble, and reported feuds are just a few of the reason’s cupid won’t be visiting the homes of the cast members.

Jenni ‘Jwoww’ Farley is divorcing her longtime love

Jenni Farley and Roger Matthews have made headlines in recent months over their explosive divorce. The couple who first met on the set of Jersey Shore has been battling it out on Instagram and in court. Most recently, Farley released footage from a Nest Camera that shows Matthews pushing her, according to E!. Matthews, for his part, has posted video tirades calling Farley out as aggressive and manipulative.

Farley filed for divorce in September, but the couple seemed to be attempting to mend their relationship. In October Matthews posted a video to Instagram showing the couple out on a date. Everything seemed to sour in December when police were called to the couple’s New Jersey residence.

Farley currently has a restraining order against Matthews. Both Matthews and Farley are fighting for primary physical custody of their two children, Meilani,4, and Greyson,2.

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino will be spending Valentine’s Day in jail

Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino, the man who brought drama to the Jersey Shore house, may have just gotten hitched, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to have a romantic Valentine’s Day. Sorrentino married his long-time girlfriend Lauren Pesce on Nov.1, according to People, but just three months later he’s in jail.

Sorrentino reported to jail on Jan. 15 where he will be serving an eight-month sentence for tax evasion. The charges stem from money trouble between 2010 and 2012. The jail stint has been in the works for some time, so it came as no surprise to Pesce and Sorrentino, but it still must be a tough way to start a marriage. Sorrentino will be on probation for two years once he is released.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro is feuding with his baby mama

Ortiz-Magro has been dating Jen Harley since 2017, but the pair never seemed to have a particularly good relationship. Hot-headed Ortiz-Magro and social-media addict Harley have gone toe-to-toe on several occasions, all of which have been documented on Instagram.

The troubled couple’s most recent argument stems from Ortiz-Magro canceling Valentine’s Day plans to appear on television, according to the since-deleted Instagram post. Ortiz-Magro and his girlfriend last feuded in January after an altercation in Vegas led to police intervention. They share a 10-month old daughter together.

Where is the rest of the cast?

While three Jersey Shore alumni are having tumultuous Februarys, the rest of the cast seems to be keeping it low key. Paul ‘Pauly D’ DelVecchio and Vinny Guadagnino remain committed to their bromance, but not to any romantic partners.  The pair is currently working on a new reality show, Double Shot at Love with DI Pauly D and Vinny.

Deena Cortese, the pint-sized tornado who debuted on Season 2 of Jersey Shore, recently welcomed a son with husband Chris Buckner, and Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi is currently awaiting the arrival of her third child. Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ Giancola has left the Jersey drama behind and is enjoying the quiet life with a new, non-famous beau. These three are sure to enjoy a low-key Valentine’s Day.
