‘LPBW’: Amy Roloff Is Showing How Incredibly Close She Is With Son Jacob Roloff’s Fiancee
A ton has changed since the early days of Little People, Big World. While we remember Matt and Amy Roloff starting the show as a happily married couple sharing their lives with viewers, the two have since divorced and gone their separate ways. Not only that, but only one of their kids, Zach, has chosen to remain on the show full-time. And Jacob, the youngest of Matt and Amy’s children, is certainly the most controversial of the family.
Jacob left the show with a bang and explained on Instagram why he no longer wanted to be associated with the show or reality TV. But since he’s still somewhat close with his family, we’re still getting insider info on his upcoming wedding to fiancee Isabel Rock. And it turns out Amy has become ultra-close with Isabel during all the wedding planning and celebrations, too.
Jacob Roloff and Isabel Rock are getting married this September
Congratulations are in order for Jacob Roloff and Isabel Rock. The two are reportedly getting married this September, and they seem quite passionately in love. Rock even shared her love story with The Knot, and she explained they first met while on the school bus. Later, they became the best of friends, and then lovers. Finally, Jacob asked to marry her during a winter trip to Iceland in 2018, and since then, the wedding plans have been in action. Amy even noted on a recent Facebook Live video that part of the reason she’s still living on the Roloff Farms property despite selling her half to Matt is so that she can ensure Jacob can tie the knot there.
Rock has been cluing fans into her thoughts and feelings regarding her upcoming wedding, too. And while she states in this recent Instagram post that she never envisioned herself getting married so young, she’s excited for the day now. “Years down the line, I want to remember how I felt each and every day leading up to ‘our big day’ so I can tell our kids everything. I want to remember how their father looked as I walked towards him, how I felt as I did, and all of the tiny details leading up to that exact moment,” she wrote.
Amy Roloff keeps posting photos from Rock’s bridal shower
Not only are Jacob and his fiancee clearly excited to tie the knot, but Amy seems to be getting quite close with Rock as the big day nears. Not only was Amy invited to Rock’s bachelorette party, but she also helped with putting the bridal shower together. “I had a blast hosting and making the food for Isabel’s bridal shower on Saturday w/ the help from my ‘sous chef’ Lisa,” Amy captioned this Instagram post from the shower. And Amy added another few photos of the party with a sweet caption about how excited she is for Rock to join the family. “I’m a blessed MIL,” Amy added in the comments.
And Rock clearly loves Amy just as much as Amy loves her. “You’re the best! You always make good food for every event,” Rock commented on Amy’s first Instagram post. And she also added a series of heart emojis on the second post. The excited fiancee also added her own sweet post from her shower to her Instagram to thank everyone involved. “Yesterday was my bridal shower and it was so beautiful. Every one of these people has been important in my life and this journey,” she captioned her post.
Those who know Rock also think Amy will be an amazing mother-in-law
It seems Amy is also getting validation from outside sources that she’ll be an incredible mother-in-law to Rock. In Touch Weekly notes Rock stated before that her mother passed away from breast cancer in 2014, so having a mother figure in Amy seems important. As one of Rock’s family friends commented on Amy’s recent post about Rock’s bridal shower, “As someone who had a large part in isabels family life I want to say thank you Amy. For loving her and doing your best to substitute what Toni was so good at, being a mom. Isabel is one of the most precious gift this world has given me. So thank you again for opening your home and heart to her [sic].” To that, Rock commented with a heart and crying face emoji.
While the happy couple has chosen not to film their wedding for Little People, Big World, we’re hopeful they’ll still share photos on Instagram when the big day arrives in September. And we’re sure Amy will be beaming in many of them, too.
