‘LPBW’: Amy Roloff Just Explained the 1 Thing She ‘Insisted’ Would Happen on Roloff Farms
We may be between seasons of Little People, Big World currently, but fans are still keeping up with Matt and Amy Roloff. And it looks like Amy has more shocking news. Amy announced her engagement to her partner of three years, Chris Marek, via Instagram back in September. And now that she’s ready to move on from her divorce with Matt completely, she’s also ready to move into a new home.
Big things are happening for Amy, but that doesn’t mean she’s done thinking about Roloff Farms, her current place of residence. And she stated on Instagram the one part of the farm she “insisted” on making a reality.
Amy Roloff stated she wouldn’t be a big part of Roloff Farms pumpkin season this year
The past year has been a wild ride for Amy Roloff and LPBW fans. Matt and Amy separated years ago and have both moved on with serious significant others, but Amy only came forward with all the details of her failed relationship with Matt in 2019 with her memoir, A Little Me.
Since the release of her book, it seems she and Matt have been on unstable ground. And while she’s been living in the big farmhouse on Roloff Farms while Matt stays in a smaller home on the same property, she noted on Instagram that she wouldn’t play as big of a role in pumpkin season this year.
Fans know pumpkin season is the best time of year to visit Roloff Farms, so many expressed their disappointment that Amy wouldn’t be there as much. One follower asked, “Can you guys tell me why she’s not part of the pumpkin season?” on an Instagram post. And Amy answered, “just a lot going on and changes and choosing not to be involved in a confrontation.” After that, she also mentioned the confrontation was from “an ultimatum that was said to me if followed through.”
She just bought a brand new home 15 minutes from the farm
Amy’s talked about moving for months now, and she stated she wanted to wait until after her son, Jacob Roloff, got married to do so. Now, it’s been reported she’s making major strides in getting off of Roloff Farms. According to Radar Online, Amy bought a home in Hillsboro, Oregon, just 15 minutes from the beloved farm.
The publication notes Amy actually bought the home back in September, but she hasn’t moved in yet. She most likely has some adjustments to make so the house can accommodate her stature. And while the deed states Amy is the sole owner of the house, her real estate broker fiancé, Chris Marek, is the one who sold it to her.
We’re awaiting Amy’s official announcement that she bought a new home, but now that the secret’s out, we’re guessing it won’t be long before she posts something to Instagram!
Amy said she insisted on this happening when she lived on Roloff Farms
From buying her new home in Oregon to taking trips to Michigan, Amy’s been all over the place. Sadly, she posted about the death of her mother in October, and she posted a few more times about her trip back home to Michigan for the funeral and memorial. While in Michigan, Amy also posted about a realization she had over the fall colors and how it influenced how she wanted to landscape Roloff Farms.
“It was so beautiful and amazing to see all the fall colors everywhere I looked. I was in awe at the beauty of it,” Amy captioned a post of the fall leaves. “Sure there is Fall in the NW but nothing like what seemed to be the abundance here. I love Fall.” She then commented on the photo and explained, “When we moved to the farm I insisted we plant some trees that their leaves turned colored. And that we did.”
It looks like we have Amy to thank for all of the beauty the farm holds during the fall months, then. While Amy won’t be spending nearly as much time on the property after she moves, we know she’ll still be in attendance for family events that occur there. And we’re all interested to see if she ties the knot for the second time on the farm, too.
