‘LPBW’: Amy Roloff Just Told a Fan She Found a New Home to Live In ‘For Awhile’

We’ve been watching Little People, Big World for over a decade, and fans have heavy investment in what Amy Roloff’s up to nowadays. While a new season of the show is currently being filmed, Amy gives regular life updates on social media. And through her Instagram, we recently learned about the major ups and downs the star of the show has gone through, like her engagement to her partner of three years and her mother passing away.

In the last season of LPBW, we learned that Amy decided to sell her half of Roloff Farms to Matt. And since then, she’s chronicled her journey in finding a new home. While she hasn’t given fans any big updates on her house hunt, she did tell a follower on Instagram that she has a new place to live. Here’s what she mentioned.

The last season of LPBW showed Amy Roloff struggling to decide what she wanted to do with her living situation. As we know, Amy and Matt divorced years ago, and they’ve since both moved on with their current significant others. Since they own Roloff Farms and live on the property together, however, it made their divorce more complicated, as either Matt or Amy wanted to move off of the property and start fresh.

In the end and after much deliberation, we know Amy decided to sell her half of the farm to Matt for $667,000, Radar Online reports. And while she’s at peace with her decision, we know the farmhouse she was living in provided a lot of stability for her during the transition of the divorce. Many fans also begged Amy to stay on the farm property, as they felt Matt was being pushy with Amy for having trouble making a decision — and they also felt Matt’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, had an influence.

She’s been searching for a new home

Amy’s still living on the farm property after selling her half to Matt, but she’s been actively looking for a new home. Unfortunately, the search has proven difficult. Back in July, Amy posted a photo to Instagram with the caption, “I’ve been through or seen more doors in the last 6+ months. And well I thought I had found the house I could make into a home again but I got beat out again by a higher offer. It wasn’t meant to be yet… I guess.” She then added, “I’m trying to be patient for I don’t want to settle for anything… the hunt continues.”

Despite Amy being upset that her house offer was rejected, she then added this post of her and now-fiance Chris Marek and noted she’s still hopeful the perfect home is out there for her. “I was thankful Chris was with me and the comfort he gave to just quietly help me to let it go and tell me there’s going to be another house I can make a home,” she wrote.

Amy’s latest Instagram posts are all about her big family news, like her mother passing away and her engagement to Marek. But within one of the posts celebrating the beginning of Roloff Farms pumpkin season, a follower recalled Amy’s house hunt and asked how it’s going. “Amy how is house hunting going,” the fan asked. And to that, Amy replied, “finally found one I can make my home for awhile. Woohoo.” Not only that, but when another follower asked her if she’s still living on the farm property, Amy replied with, “yes but not for long ….”

We’re not sure when Amy will be ready to share her exciting news on a grander scale. And we’re also not sure if Amy found a permanent new home or just a temporary place. Either way, we’re excited for her to start her new life with her fiance away from Roloff Farms. Congratulations, Amy!
