‘LPBW’: Amy Roloff’s Fiancé, Chris Marek, Is Getting Closer With Amy’s Son, Zach, and His Wife, Tori

Fans can’t wait for Little People, Big World to return in 2020, as there’s a ton that’s occurred since the end of Season 14. The last we saw of Amy Roloff on the small screen, she decided to sell her half of Roloff Farms to ex-husband Matt Roloff. And after that, fans learned scathing details regarding Amy and Matt’s relationship thanks to her memoir, A Little Me.

While Amy went through some tough times in 2019, 2020 is slated to be her best year yet. Not only did she recently buy a home, but she’s also engaged to her partner of three years, Chris Marek. And while the other Roloffs may not have been too thrilled with Marek at first, it seems he’s spending more time with Amy’s son and daughter-in-law, Zach and Tori Roloff.

Chris Marek and Amy Roloff are officially engaged

When Amy and Matt first divorced, Amy claimed she’d never tie the knot again — but it looks like wedding bells will ring in her near future. She met Marek several years back during a single’s mixer, and while they didn’t hit it off then, their future motorcycle dates together allowed them to develop a serious connection. Now, three years after they began dating, Marek proposed to Amy.

“Guess what! I wanted to share with you- I’m engaged! I was so surprised when Chris asked me to marry him. I said YES,” Amy announced on Instagram alongside a photo of her with her engagement ring. “I couldn’t be happier and so looking forward to this new part of our life journey together.”

Amy posted another sweet photo of her and Marek to Instagram, and she explained that he proposed while they were out on their anniversary date. “I’m engaged and couldn’t be happier. I love this man so much,” she captioned the post.

Amy said her family wasn’t so sure about her dating Marek at first

Matt and Amy started LPBW together, and their divorce was hard on their kids. There have been plenty of rumors stating Jacob Roloff, who’s no longer associated with the show, blamed Matt for the separation. And when Amy introduced a new man into her life, her kids had some hesitation.

“I think in the beginning, maybe they hoped,” Amy told Us Weekly in regards to what her kids thought about the divorce. “I think we’re just doing our best with the relationships that we’re now in or have been in. We’re doing our best not to shove it in their face or anything.”

In the same interview with Us, Amy also mentioned Marek. “Chris is, like, the new guy on the scene,” she added. “So, to my kids, it’s like, ‘Wait a minute — what is mom doing? Who is this person?’ And just helping them to appreciate that life does go on and, you know, he is a person you don’t know but I’m so appreciative of the respect and everything that they have given him.”

Amy showed Marek spending time with Zach and Tori Roloff

Stepping into a new family can be tough, but Marek seems to be getting to know the Roloffs quite well. And Amy added a post to Instagram on Dec. 14 showing off her blended family.

“It’s Christmas time and what fun Chris and I had to go with @zroloff07 and @toriroloff Jackson and baby Lilah to pick out their Christmas tree,” Amy captioned the post showing she and Marek as well as Zach, Tori, and their young kids. “Moments like this make the holiday season merry and bright.”

Amy’s followers noticed the family photo, too.

“Tori is so sweet. Seems like she goes out of her way to include you or Matt in their family activities,” one follower noted.

Another wrote, “I love that Tori and Zach spend so much time with you. That’s a good kid you raised.”

We’re excited to see what else is in store for Amy and Marek in the future. Happy holidays to Amy, Marek, and the rest of the Roloffs!
