‘LPBW’: Amy Roloff’s Instagram Followers Are Consoling Her After Her House Offer Was Rejected

Fans of the Roloffs have been watching Little People, Big World for nearly 15 years — and it’s hard to believe how much has changed for the family since it all began. Not only are Matt and Amy Roloff’s kids all grown up (their youngest, Jacob, is getting married in September), but they’re divorced and moving on with their lives as well. And the latest season of the show had Amy wrestling with her big decision: Would she stay on her half of Roloff Farms, or would she move on?

We now know Amy’s ready to find her own place off of Roloff Farms property — but according to Instagram, her latest house offer was rejected. Here’s how her followers are attempting to console her.

Amy decided she was moving off of the farm at the end of the last season

The last season of Little People, Big World came to a shocking conclusion when Amy Roloff announced she would be selling her portion of Roloff Farms to Matt. Amy’s noted before how the farm gave her a sense of stability and security as she was going through her divorce. Now that all is said and done, however, she’s ready to move on — and there’s no doubt the farm requires a ton of upkeep that she doesn’t want to have to maintain at this point in her life, either.

Matt further explained what went down with the farm on his Instagram, too. “I have chosen to buy (and Amy has chosen to sell) me only one side of the farm At this time.. Not the original farmstead … not the side with the pumpkin patch or her house.. for now she is only selling me her partial share of ownership in the side (DW) that I live on [sic],” he wrote. “She will remain in her house (and on the farm) and 1/2 owner of our original farm until she decides to leave [sic].”

She stated on Facebook Live that she’s currently house hunting

Amy is still living on Roloff Farms, but during her latest Facebook Live update, she told fans she was actively looking for a new home to settle into. And what’s even better is that her boyfriend, Chris Marek, is helping her out as her realtor. As she said in her video, “I have been looking for a house for the last six months,” Amy announced. And while she seems exasperated by the process, she noted Marek truly believes she’ll find the perfect place for her, too.

Amy’s even taken her house-hunting to Instagram. She wrote on this post that she’s been searching for the perfect place to call home for over six months now, and she’s excited to find the perfect place. “Just as the decision I made to take a buyout on my half of the farm property (just the DW side for now) was hard, finding ‘that’ house is being just as challenging,” she wrote. “I’m trying to be patient for I don’t want to settle for anything… the hunt continues.”

Amy’s latest house offer was rejected, and fans are reaching out

Amy keeps trying to find a new place to call home — but unfortunately, it seems her latest offer didn’t cut it. “I was bummed my offer on a house got rejected. I was thankful Chris was with me and the comfort he gave to just quietly help me to let it go and tell me there’s going to be another house I can make a home,” she captioned this post of her and her boyfriend.

Fans are reaching out with their support as well during this stressful time. “Amy, there is [a] house out there that may not be on the market yet. And when it shows up YOU are going to be there ready to buy. Don’t feel bad, chin up, deep breath and move on to the next,” one loving fan wrote. And another commented, “God definitely has a plan and that house just wasn’t in his plan.” Yet another wrote, “You will find your new home when it’s right!”

Hopefully, Amy takes this advice to heart and keeps her head held high while her house search continues!
