‘LPBW’: Are Jeremy and Audrey Roloff Actually Taking Over Roloff Farms?
Since Little People, Big World began nearly 15 years ago, fans have become well-acquainted with the Roloff family. And Roloff Farms has also been a constant on the show, too, as it served as Matt and Amy Roloff’s family business while their four children were growing up. Now, Jeremy, Zach, Molly, and Jacob are adults — and Matt and Amy’s divorce threw a wrench into their living situation on the farm. Thanks to the last season of the show, we know Amy chose to sell her half of the property to Matt and search for a new home, too.
We’re not sure exactly what the fate of the farm will be, but there’s plenty of speculation that Jeremy and his wife, Audrey, may take over. Here’s what’s going on.
Matt Roloff recently mentioned he’d love to give up the farm property
The fate of Roloff Farms was a huge plot point on the most recent season of Little People, Big World, and we know Amy had a major decision to make. While she tearfully decided it was time to sell her half of the farm and find a new place to live, that now leaves Matt with the entire farm property to care for on his own. And given how popular pumpkin season is for tourists, that means there’s a lot of work ahead for the aging Roloff.
It shouldn’t surprise many that Matt himself has considered selling the entire farm and moving on with his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, too. He’s talked about selling the property in the past and has even called it a “burden.” Most recently, he commented on Instagram that he’d love to do away with Roloff Farms and move to Arizona full-time. “I would love Amy to buy her side of the farm and let me move to AZ full time. She’s scared to death of the work and attention it would take [sic],” he commented on his Instagram post.
Jeremy Roloff told fans on Instagram he’s not taking over the farm
Roloff Farms is as iconic to fans as the Roloff family itself, and they’ve made it clear via Instagram comments that they don’t want to see the property go to anyone else. If Matt does decide to move to Arizona full-time and give up the Oregon-based property, LPBW viewers have made it known they’d love to see the farm get handed down to another Roloff. And Jeremy Roloff seems like the perfect candidate, as he recently posted to Instagram that he was interested in owning a farm of his own.
“I’m totally re-inspired to eat healthier, consistently exercise, and to buy a farm,” he started his post after visiting a Young Living Essential Oils convention with Audrey. And on his post, one of his followers asked, “Why not your family’s farm?” While everyone hoped Jeremy would have good news to share about taking over the family property, he instead answered, “very expensive.” Fans were still hopeful, though. Another commented, “maybe his parents will eventually work out a deal with him to buy it…..wouldn’t that be great? Then it could remain in the family for the grandkids to grow up on [sic].”
Jeremy and Audrey may be opening a business on Roloff Farms
While Jeremy may have posted about the hefty expense of completely owning Roloff Farms, he may be more involved with the family business than we think. According to Radar Online, Oregon records show that Jeremy and Audrey registered a new business, called “The Roloff Company,” under the farm’s current address. The business was registered on March 29, 2019. Jeremy is allegedly listed as the president of the company, and his wife, Audrey, is the secretary.
Does this mean Jeremy and Audrey, who left Little People, Big World to work on their own business ventures, will be back on the farm and taking over despite the hefty expenses? We’re hoping so, as this would keep the property in the family. We’ll have to wait and see what their future business plans are.
