‘LPBW’: Audrey Roloff Just Told Everyone Jeremy Roloff Fell in Love With Her Before She Loved Him
Jeremy Roloff was featured on Little People, Big World alongside his famous parents, Matt and Amy Roloff, and his three siblings when he was just a kid. And while he’s no longer a regular cast member on the show, fans still love keeping up with him now. Today, he has a life with his wife, Audrey, and his daughter, Ember. And while the family seems quite wholesome, they’ve still managed to stir up controversy for their beliefs and their business that’s rooted in their marriage and faith.
Jeremy and Audrey seem like the picture-perfect couple, but they weren’t necessarily on the same page in the beginning. In fact, Audrey just told her Instagram followers that Jeremy fell in love with her before she loved him.
Jeremy and Audrey had a difficult relationship in the beginning
Behind every great couple is their ability to overcome an immense struggle. And it turns out that Jeremy and Audrey experienced difficulties with their relationship when they first started dating. On Audrey Roloff’s blog, she said she was introduced to Jeremy on a blind date set up by a mutual friend when she was just a freshman in college. Unfortunately for Jeremy, it seems Audrey wasn’t into the relationship at first. “Jeremy pursued me faithfully and diligently for two years before we started dating. I know… I was stubborn…,” she wrote.
By the time the two began dating, they also had years of long-distance to deal with before they could be closer in proximity. “Jeremy and I had sustained a two-year long-distance friendship, and a three-year long-distance relationship,” Audrey wrote. And Good Housekeeping notes in the couple’s book, A Love Letter Life, Audrey even broke up with Jeremy once after undergoing severe stress and health issues.
Audrey just said Jeremy loved her long before she could say she loved him
Despite the couple’s difficulties, they managed to get back together, work out their differences, and close the gap on their distance. And while Jeremy seemed all-in with Audrey since the very beginning of their relationship, it seems Audrey was the one who needed more convincing. Not only was she the one to temporarily put their relationship on hold, but it also took her way longer to tell Jeremy she loved him.
Recently, she posted a photo of her and Jeremy to Instagram with five facts listed — though she wrote that one of the “facts” was a lie. And it turns out the lie was, “I said ‘I love you’ first, one year before Jeremy said it back….” Audrey noted in her Instagram Story, “Alright most of you guys guessed right. #3 is false. It was the reverse. Jeremy said ‘I love you first’ and it took me a year to say it back [sic].”
Not all of their followers believe the couple should be giving marriage advice

Jeremy and Audrey were able to make their relationship work through distance, reality TV, and more of life’s difficulties. And they believe their commitment to each other, as well as their faith in God, is what’s led them to this point. The Roloffs believe so strongly in their bond that they also have a book, A Love Letter Life, that’s dedicated to teaching others how to find the perfect relationship, too. Not only that, but Audrey and Jeremy encourage faith-based covenant marriages through their business, Beating 50 Percent, too.
Jeremy and Audrey certainly seem in love, but many of their followers don’t believe they should be giving out advice. “While I appreciate your intuitive thoughts it doesn’t seem like you have a true grasp or awareness yet of an aging but always love filled 21 year marriage and with that I find it difficult to relate on a serious level [sic],” a fan commented on this Instagram post. Another commented, “I’ve been married 31 years and as far as I see not everything works for everyone. They certainly haven’t put in the time or years to give advice.”
No matter what criticism they receive, there’s no doubt Audrey and Jeremy will carry on discussing their love story.
