‘LPBW’: Caryn Chandler Told an Instagram Follower She’s In ‘No Rush’ to Marry Matt Roloff
We’ve been following the Roloff family for years thanks to TLC’s Little People, Big World, and a ton has changed since the show first began. It all started with Matt and Amy Roloff, two little people who wanted to show the world what life was like through their eyes while they raised their four kids and took care of their family farm. But everything changed once Matt and Amy divorced. Now, they’re both moving on with their lives — and they’re ultra-close with their significant others, too.
Fans have been speculating for quite some time whether Matt and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, will tie the knot. It seems Chandler isn’t quite ready, as she just told an Instagram follower she’s not in any rush to walk down the aisle. Here’s what happened.
Matt Roloff and Caryn Chandler have been dating for years
Chandler has been making appearances for years on Little People, Big World, and it’s due to her association with Roloff Farms pumpkin season. Matt explained on the show that Chandler ran pumpkin season for a decade. “Caryn is instrumental in running pumpkin season, she’s run it for 10 years. I enjoy her immensely,” he said. “Whether we’re working or whether we’re relaxing, we have a great time together.”
Unfortunately, Matt and Chandler’s closeness didn’t always fly with Amy. “Caryn has been part of pumpkin season and managing it for a long time and does a great job,” Amy said on the show. “But knowing the relationship between Matt and Caryn, and to know that they’re dating … You know, to work beside Caryn, it’s not healthy for me.”
Not only was it tough for Amy to work with Matt’s girlfriend on the farm, but Amy also revealed in her memoir, A Little Me, that Chandler and Matt appeared to be exchanging inappropriate texts and photos while she and Matt were still married. And that seems to be one of the main reasons she doesn’t get along with Chandler.
Amy Roloff got engaged to Chris Marek in Sept. 2019
It’s not just Matt and Chandler who are getting close. Amy and her partner, Chris Marek, have been together for over three years, too. And she recently took to Instagram to share ultra-exciting news: She’s engaged.
“I was so surprised when Chris asked me to marry him. I said YES,” Amy captioned a post of her wearing her engagement ring. “I couldn’t be happier and so looking forward to this new part of our life journey together. I’m blessed. Love you Chris.”
Amy’s talked about remarrying in the past. And while she initially stated she had no interest in tying the knot again, she did mention it once more while on a camping trip with Marek. “I’m not here to push him, I’m not here for him to do something that he is nowhere [near] ready for,” Amy mentioned to the LPBW cameras. “But if marriage is meant to happen for me again, the second time, then I would sing ‘Hallelujah.'”
Chandler said she’s not rushing down the aisle with Matt
Now that Amy is taking the plunge and getting remarried, everyone’s wondering if Matt and Chandler will do the same. The two live on Roloff Farms and also travel to Matt’s other home in Surprise, Arizona quite often. And while Chandler quit working on Roloff Farms, she was helping out with pumpkin season more than usual this year, so she’s certainly committed to the Roloffs.
Chandler posted a photo of her holding Zach and Tori’s newborn baby girl, Lilah, to Instagram. And in the comments, a fan mentioned, “Thought I saw a ring on that left finger.”
To that, Chandler answered, “hahah. No – we r just enjoying life with no rush – I promise to let ya know if that changes tho.”
Now that there’s a new baby to dote on (and another on the way from Jeremy and Audrey), we’re sure Matt and Chandler are completely occupied. And we’re hoping the couple really will tell their fans if they’re planning on getting hitched anytime soon!
