‘LPBW’: Fans Are Noticing This Major Difference Between Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff’s Instagrams
The latest season of Little People, Big World has ended, but the drama between Matt and Amy Roloff continues. While the two started reality TV together as a married couple with their four kids, a ton has changed since then. Today, they’re divorced and pursuing relationships of their own — and Amy made the decision last season to sell her half of Roloff Farms to Matt. Now, fans follow them both on Instagram to see what they’re up to. And it seems they’re pursuing vastly different things in their lives despite still living on the farm property together.
While Matt seems to spend most of his time on the farm with his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, Amy is out with her boyfriend, Chris Marek. And fans have noticed there’s one major difference between what Matt posts and what Amy posts to social media.
Amy Roloff has been posting a lot about her recent trips to Instagram
There’s been a ton of drama with Amy Roloff since she made her major decision to sell her half of Roloff Farms. In her recent memoir, A Little Me, she made scathing claims regarding Matt Roloff and Caryn Chandler. According to Amy, Matt and Chandler were exchanging inappropriate material with each other during Matt and Amy’s marriage. And while Amy is currently looking for a new home while still technically residing on the farm property, she seems to always be away from the farm and venturing out with boyfriend Chris Marek.
“What an amazing motorcycle trip we did in Aug for 5 days! First half of the trip we rode along the beautiful magnificent Oregon coast down to the Redwood forest in California. Woohoo!” She captioned this recent post of her and Marek’s recent motorcycle trip. And before that, she was visiting her parents in Michigan while her mother was in poor health.
Matt is posting a ton about the farm and his grandkids
Matt ventures out with Chandler to their second home in Surprise, Arizona, quite often. But it seems he and Chandler have been spending a ton of time on Roloff Farms with his grandchildren. Currently, both Zach’s wife, Tori, and Jeremy’s wife, Audrey, are both pregnant with their second children. And they frequently bring their kids — Jackson and Ember — to the farm to visit Matt and his girlfriend.
Recently on Instagram, Matt posted all about a few big events involving his kids and his grandchildren on the farm. They recently took down the beloved family treehouse, and they also held Jeremy and Audrey’s gender reveal party for their second child. Not only that, but Matt has been keeping fans in the loop with all sorts of projects he’s doing for the grandkids, too, like building a new playset that looks like an airplane.
Matt seems to post more about his grandchildren than Amy does
There’s no doubt both Matt and Amy adore their grandchildren. But while Amy is busily posting about her trips with Marek, her trips back home, and her wedding preparations for their son, Jacob, Matt’s Instagram remains quite focused on Roloff Farms and his grandbabies. It seems fans are starting to notice, too. As one of Matt’s followers commented on his recent Instagram post of him and Chandler holding Ember and Jackson, “Does Amy ever have the grandkid too? It seems like Matt has them a lot and Amy is off on trips.” Another wrote, “Funny thing you never see Amy with her grandkids like you do Matt and his girlfriend.”
Others are defending Amy, however, and believe just because she doesn’t post about the grandkids often doesn’t mean she’s not spending time with them. And with Jacob’s wedding coming up, we’re sure we’ll see plenty more of the Roloffs all coming together in photos. But we also can’t deny that it seems Jackson and Ember love spending time at the farm. Will Jeremy and Audrey buy it off of Matt’s hands? We’re hoping so!
