‘LPBW’ Fans Think Amy Roloff’s Looking ‘Positive’ as She Furniture Shops for Her New Home

Those who’ve kept up with Little People, Big World are well-aware of Amy Roloff’s saga. While she started the show happily married to Matt Roloff and taking care of their four kids, a lot has changed over the decade and a half the Roloffs have been on television. Not only are Amy and Matt no longer together, but Amy is engaged to her partner of over three years, Chris Marek. And she has even bigger news now — and it’s that she bought a new home.

Amy’s talked about her living situation on the show, on Facebook Live, and on Instagram. And now that she’s bought her new place and is going furniture shopping, fans think she looks more uplifted than ever. Here’s what they’re saying.

Amy Roloff recently bought a new house

Congratulations are in order for Amy, as Radar Online broke the news that Amy bought a new home just 15 minutes away from Roloff Farms. In the previous season of LPBW, fans saw Amy wrestle with the decision of whether she would sell her half of Roloff Farms to Matt and move off the farm property she’s always known and loved. We know now that she did, indeed, sell her half — and for months she was reportedly looking for a new place.

Now, she finally found her forever home. Radar reports Amy’s house is 3,767 square feet and has five bedrooms as well as four bathrooms. While Amy seemingly bought the house back in September, it appears she hasn’t actually moved in yet, nor has she told her Instagram followers of the news. It’s suspected this is because she wants to make the home more little person-friendly before she commits to living in the house fully.

She talked about moving after Jacob Roloff’s wedding before

Amy’s talked about moving since the last season finale of LPBW, but she didn’t want to rush into things too fast. Those who keep up with her on Facebook Live may recall when she said she wouldn’t be moving until at least November due to Jacob Roloff’s wedding.

Back in September, Jacob married his now-wife, Isabel Rock — and Amy wanted to make sure she was still on the farm property for the big day since all of her kids wed on Roloff Farms.

“All of the three kids got married on the farm,” Amy commented on Facebook Live. “And I said, oh, for me to make sure that this happens, November 1 — they’re getting married this September. … These are certain things that I wanted to make sure in my decision making because this is at least what I could do for Jacob.” Amy then added that she was considering waiting until as late as March 2020 to move, though now that she’s bought her home, we’re betting it’ll be a lot sooner than that.

She posted about furniture shopping on Instagram

It looks like Amy is setting up her new digs, as she posted a photo of herself with Marek. And in the caption, she explained what they both were up to. “Guess what? Having a little fun in the adventure of seeing what’s out their in the furniture world- dining table, chairs, couches, tables… it’s a little intimidating the many choices and what do I like,” Amy captioned the post. She also added the hashtags “#furnitureshopping” and “#lifechanges.”

Amy may be in the beginning stages of furniture shopping, but her followers noticed how excited she seems to be for her next big adventure.

“Love how positive you are! Happy shopping!” one follower commented. Another added, “Y’all look so happy!” And another added, “hats awesome, so exciting. Can’t wait to see your new home. Have fun. So happy for you two.”

We can’t wait to hear more details from Amy about the new place. Hopefully, she’ll update her fans on another Facebook Live video soon!
