‘LPBW’: Matt Roloff Said He’s Collaborating With a Famous Business Amid Roloff Farms Pumpkin Season
There’s good news for Little People, Big World fans — the show is back to filming, and we’ll be seeing Matt and Amy Roloff again with new content next year. The last season of the show showed the ex-couple more at odds than ever before. While they’ve been divorced for some time, Amy finally made the decision to sell her half of Roloff Farms to Matt, and she hopes to find a new home to live in soon. Now, Matt owns the entire property.
It seems keeping up with the farm isn’t all Matt’s up to, however. He just posted a photo to his Instagram indicating he’s collaborating with another business. Here’s what he wrote.
Matt Roloff is currently busy with pumpkin season at Roloff Farms
It’s officially the busiest time of the year for the Roloffs. Since LPBW first started, Matt and Amy Roloff have featured Roloff Farms, as it’s their family business and place of residence. And we all know that pumpkin season is crucial for the farm, too. Matt and Amy have both posted about the current season on Instagram, and many of their kids and in-laws, like Zach and his wife, Tori, and Jeremy and his wife, Audrey, have also promoted all of the fall festivities going on.
Amy likely has a complicated relationship with pumpkin season, too. As we know, Matt’s girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, worked on the farm for a decade and managed the season — but Amy wrote in her memoir, A Little Me, that Matt and Chandler were having a relationship during her marriage. We know Chandler no longer works on the farm, but there’s no doubt she’s still involved, as she also posted a photo of the farm to her Instagram and is deeply invested in Matt’s family and livelihood.
He’s currently collaborating with another business
There’s no doubt it’s a busy time for the farm. And since Matt is the sole owner of the Roloff Farms business now, there’s no guarantee that Amy will be helping. Not only that, but Amy mentioned on this Instagram post that she won’t play as big of a role during pumpkin season this year due to other circumstances. “Though I’m not a part of Pumpkin season as much as I want or can be this year, for various reason, I’ll always love seeing and meeting so many of you that come,” she wrote.
As for Matt, he’s up to other things aside from farm life, too. He posted this photo to his Instagram featuring himself, Caryn Chandler, and the co-founder of Oregon-based Voodoo Doughnut. “Hanging out with with the co-founder of @voodoodoughnut tonight. Working on new ideas for donut collaboration. say what??” he captioned the post, which had his fans reacting. Matt then cryptically added, “I’ll just say… it takes one to know one. Those of you that aren’t tuned in to the voodoo donut situation. Read up on it.”
Is this business move a step away from the farm?
We’re not sure what Matt’s up to yet, and we may have to wait until the new season of LPBW to find out. And while some may assume that Matt may be providing resources from his farm for Voodoo Doughnut, thus the reason behind the collaboration, his recent post may have nothing to do with the farm at all. In fact, we can’t forget that Matt has called the farm a “burden” in the past and has more recently noted that he’d love to sell Roloff Farms anyway.
As for who would take over, there’s a chance his son, Jeremy, might buy the property. He’s been hinting on his Instagram that he wants a farm, and he’s discussed the possibility with a few of his followers who asked.
We can’t wait to hear more about what Matt’s getting into next, no matter what it is!
