‘LPBW’ Star Tori Roloff Showed Support For Jinger Duggar After Miscarriage Post: ‘You’re an Inspiration’

There’s big news in Duggar world — and that’s that Jinger Duggar is pregnant with her second child! We know Jinger best as having 18 siblings and growing up in a fundamentalist Christian household, and we’ve followed her since her parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, thrust the family into the spotlight. Now, it’s her turn to share some news about her growing family.

While Jinger’s ecstatic about her current pregnancy, she also shared personal information regarding her miscarriage last year. And her friend and TLC co-star from Little People, Big World, Tori Roloff, offered some sweet sentiments. Here’s what Tori said about Jinger being an “inspiration.”

Tori Roloff has gotten candid on her Instagram regarding her own pregnancies

LPBW fans adore Tori, as she gets super candid on her Instagram when it comes to pregnancy and parenting. She’s married to Zach Roloff who has achondroplasia, the same form of dwarfism as Amy Roloff. Any children they have have a 50% chance of also having dwarfism — and so far, both their son, Jackson, and their daughter, Lilah, have it.

Tori knows the risks and is happy to parent her children no matter if they’re average-sized or not. But she still has some fears when it comes to her kids having dwarfism, and she’s shared those with her followers.

“On tonight’s episode of LPBW I got extremely emotional about finding out Lilah had dwarfism,” Tori wrote on Instagram back in April. ” It was harder for me to process having a girl but to have a girl with dwarfism is new territory for me. It’s nerve wracking for sure but I can already tell Lilah Ray is one tough girlsie.”

I’m excited! Yet, the overwhelming feelings of joy and anticipation that I’m feeling today are a sharp reminder of the overwhelming feelings of sadness and loss I felt last November. On a Monday evening, Jer and I were rejoicing with our families as we announced that I was pregnant. Yet, in God’s perfect timing, it was the next morning that I awoke knowing something wasn’t right. Within moments I knew that I’d lost the baby. Tears filled my eyes, sadness cloaked my soul. Having just lost my grandmother months before, the news of new life was like spring lilies blossoming after a dark, cold winter. And in a moment, that life was gone. I know many of you can relate. The minutes feel like hours, the hours like days, don’t they? I was helpless—nothing I could do would restore the lost life. Yet, I was never hopeless. In those moments, I did the only thing I could. I rehearsed the timeless truths upon which I’ve anchored my soul—the truth that God is sovereign and he is good. The truth that Job recited, thousands of years ago, in his agony: “The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.” The pain doesn’t leave quickly. It’s not meant to. But in the midst of pain, the hope we hold is in God who works “all things together for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose” (Rom 8:28). Dear friends, the reality is, at times we are helpless. But never, and I mean never, do we have to be hopeless.

Aside from Tori getting emotional about parenting, the Duggar women also often open up about their journeys through motherhood. Jinger posted a pregnancy announcement to her Instagram on May 28. And a day later, she added another post — but this one’s about the miscarriage she experienced prior to her current pregnancy.

“I’m excited! Yet, the overwhelming feelings of joy and anticipation that I’m feeling today are a sharp reminder of the overwhelming feelings of sadness and loss I felt last November,” Jinger started her post. She then explained that after she told her family and her husband’s family about the pregnancy, she knew “something wasn’t right” the next morning.

“Within moments I knew that I’d lost the baby. Tears filled my eyes, sadness cloaked my soul,” she added. “The pain doesn’t leave quickly. It’s not meant to. But in the midst of pain, the hope we hold is in God who works ‘all things together for good for those who love him and are called according to his purpose’ (Rom 8:28).”

Tori and Jinger certainly have different family scenarios. But it looks like Tori is giving her support to Jinger. The LPBW star first gave a heartfelt congratulation message on Jinger’s pregnancy post. And on the miscarriage post, Tori offered her support.

“I think it’s so brave you’re sharing your story Jinger,” she commented. “You’re an inspiration to women everywhere.”

To that, Jinger commented back, “Thank you.” And she added a crying emoji and a heart emoji.

This isn’t the first time Tori’s interacted with Jinger online. And she’s also commented on Jessa Duggar’s posts, proving she’s close with quite a few of the Duggar ladies. We love that the TLC stars are coming together to show each other love and support when it’s needed, and perhaps there’s a crossover between the two families down the pipeline eventually!
